Disappointing given the cost

Maybe I was just unlucky but I had to return my first purchase as the button to open the lid did not work. I replaced with a second purchase and this worked a couple of times and then developed an electrical fault so has also been returned. Kitchenaid have been helpful providing free returns labels but I had hoped for better. It’s a lovely looking kettle!

I bought this electric kettle model and it looks great with my kitchen and works well. BUT, as with my last kettle (from a different company) the top doesn't open when I push the release button. I have to slip a fingernail under the rim to open it to fill the kettle. For the price, and Kitchen Aid's overall reputation for quality, this is frustrating and disappointing.

A little noisier than hoped for

Aesthetically the kettle is wonderful. It also heats the water quickly and pours well. However, it is a little noisier than I'd hoped, therefore four instead of five stars.

The kettle is great but the lid is a bit tough to work with from time to time. The bell and lighting on it is nice.The silver banding with the Kitchenaid logo is nice looking but if you are left handed it does not face the kitchen and you look at a large rivet. I would put logo on both sides.

Honestly, I love it. It looks good, it heats quickly, its fairly easy to clean. The temp control setting seems fairly accurate, which is a great change from other kettles I've had.

I like the sleek design of this kettle, I just wish it was a color. It has enough capacity to hold enough water for several cups of tea or hot chocolate for my classroom.it heats the water fairly quickly and the outside stays cool to the touch so it's safe for the kids.

This is a great quick and easy way to make enough hot water to serve multiple cups of tea or cocoa. You can set the water temperature you want. It looks attractive with many color options so you can leave it out on your counter to use routinely.

This product was designed with safety in mind. It's capacity is more than enough to make a picture of tea with it being 1.7 liters,the temperature as well it's reaches boiling with no problems,very high performance capabilities. No complaints on this product thanks for sending me this.

This electric kettle heats up water very quickly. The color matches perfectly with our appliances. It holds 1.7 liters of water and heats the water up to 100 degrees C. There is also a push button top to put the water in. You can also choose the temperature as well.

I love this kitchen aid hot water kettle. I use it in my office where I don’t have instant hot water. This allows me to easily make tea without going into my house. The design is amazing and I love that you can choose the temperature

I love the design white color, look so elegant. More than that the space is large for 1 boil, not make too loud when working. Kitchen Aid is always good as well.

Let me preface with the fact that I am an electric kettle girlie. ✨ I use mine every night for my tea and protein hot cocoas. My first electric kettle was a Bodum and I’ve been using a Beautiful brand electric kettle for quite a while now. Upon receipt of the Kitchen Aid kettle I was VERY excited because I love the Kitchen Aid brand. The kettle looks great with my other appliances and has a very sleek, aesthetically pleasing appearance. When you plug the kettle in it makes a cute elevator “ding” sound and it also does the sound when the water is done boiling. The lid is very cute but don’t like how easy it is to coat it with finger prints. My biggest bones to pick with this kettle are 1) so much louder than my Beautiful kettle, 2) took longer to heat up and boil, 3) the outside gets HOT because of the stainless steel. My main and primary concern for future buyers is the hot exterior. If you have small children that like to grab things on counters or would be at risk for touching the outside of the kettle after use, I’d personally choose a different kettle. For someone living alone or without small children, this is less of a hazard and concern. This kettle would also be good for someone who is the occasional user and not a daily user or connoisseur, as (like me) the user could be more prone to want more features. My last and final bone to pick with the kettle is how short the plug-in cord is. I’d love to see this be made with a longer cord or a retractable cord. Overall, it does seem like a good investment if it fits your needs after considering the pros and cons. This one might become my office kettle at work and I’ll leave the Beautiful kettle at home. 🏡
