Reviews
I bought these bowls before 2020. I think it was 2018 and I barely used them until this year. Now that I'm using them as mixing bowls more, I don't want to use them anymore. When I first got them, I used them a couple times with a hand whisk. Then in 2018 went on GAPS diet and transitioned to a strict carnivore diet. It was because myself and my young child had chronic health issues and we didn't tolerate anything aside from ruminant animal foods. Going on an elimination, carnivore diet improved our health and gut health a lot and now we can tolerate a few low oxalate foods (we have oxalosis). Since my child is no longer lactose intolerant and we can have things like coconut flour, she has wanted to try low carb treats and I've made a few things for her. I mostly used a hand whisk a few times, a vintage manual beater a few times and very recently I used an electric mixer a couple times. I got an electric one so my child can participate too. I can use a manual beater but, coconut flour batter is thicker and it's too hard for my child. The electric beater chipped the inside of the small bowl and caused deep scratches. I'd be OK with shallow or light ones but, the deep scratches and the chip, just don't seem sanitary. I tried to remove them but, I decided against it. I bought brushed stainless steel measuring spoons and one of them had a sharp spot on one edge. I removed it with a green finishing pad. It's the kind painters use. It worked and didn't damage the spoon. Anyway, I tried to do that on the small bowl. It looked a bit better but, it didn't remove the deep scratches or the gauge or chip. I have a set of vintage Pyrex Lazy Daisy mixing bowls and they are in better condition than the All Clad ones. Seeing all the good reviews on here, I think maybe I just got a flawed one. I do like the handles on them but, I don't want them anymore. I like my All Clad products though. So, I won't give up on the brand.
Excellent quality and great look
I love all clad products because I know it’s quality I can count on lasting me forever, I’m slowly investing in these product since they are pricey but worth it
Love these bowls
I have had these bowls for about a year and love them. I love the handle and the weight of the bowls are just perfect. Yes they do have a few scratches from use but I don't see that as a problem. Cookware with no marks is cookware not used.
Love them so nice and shiny
Love them they’re so shiny . Very solid and light
Easily scratchrd
Easily scratched, I didn’t even use any harsh utensil. It took 3 month to receive them. I should’ve cancelled it. Not as expected with ALL-CLAD quality.
Perfectly weighted for ease of use!
These bowls are perfectly weighted for ease of use. They nest very nicely for easy storage. The handle grip really helps especially when whisking! I am very happy with my purchase!
Bloomingdale’s service
Bowls were dirty, very scratched up am certainly used. Swirl marks from an electric hand mixer were very prominent inside the bowls. We placed the order on 12/7/20223 and they arrived on 2/3/2023. Bloomingdale’s took 2 months to send us used mixing bowls. The bowls were otherwise nice, although easily scratched it would appear.
Perfect bowls
Beautiful mixing bowls and love the folded handles
Amazing!
I love the All-Clad muffin tins we have and so the quality and design of these mixing bowls did not disappoint! They are a fantastic weight and the handle is a nice feature. 10/10 would buy again!
Using mixer in bowl.
Got these bowls from our wedding registry. They look great but the inside Got scratched up when using a mixer. Are you not supposed to use a mixing machine in the bowl?
We have 2 sets.
Bowl set was great. Actually our 2nd set. Need 1 minimum.
Its good but unnecessary handle
Its nice as expected but dont feel confortable with the handle.
scratches very easily
Disappointed. I was excited to use these new bowls for Thanksgiving but I either received a defective large mixing bowl or the quality is not as advertised. I used it once to mix stuffing and the bottom is completely scratched It looks like I've had it for years. I had carefully mixed the food by hand and did not even scrape the bottom of the bowl. I cannot imaging what it would look like if I had used a metal whisk or handheld mixer. I have not had this issue with my other All Clad stainless steel. Wondering if this has to do with the fact these bowls are no longer made in the US and have less quality control.
Scratches easily
Disappointed. I was excited to get these for Thanksgiving but either I received a defective large mixing bowl or the quality is not as advertised. I only mixed cornbread stuffing in it (gently with a spoon) and the entire bottom is scratched after one use. I can only imagine how it would look if I had used a metal whisk or handheld mixer. I have not had this issue with my other All Clad stainless steel. Wondering if it has to do with the fact these bowls are no longer being made in the US and have less quality control.
They're do what they're supposed to. I had some other brand before with silicon on the bottom that kept them from sliding and making unnecessary noise and I much preferred those.
Looooooove these so much! All-Clad is one of my favorite brands. I have several of the pieces.
Outstanding
These mixing bowls are superb. Overall quality is excellent. I love the handles and the scratch proof surface. I have no criticism. Also like the fact they are USA made.
Durable and valuable
The mixed stainless steel mixing bowls are fabulous. They stack neatly inside each other for easy storage. The are heavy and avoid scratching. We do use silicone utensils so that helps too.
No longer made in USA
Ive had these bowls for years. I went go buy another set and sadly they are no longer made in america. What a shame that All-Clad is changing. They were one of the few brands left.
Quality!
I love All Clad products. I didn’t really NEED another set of bowls. When they arrived I was immediately impressed with the care taken in the packaging and the look and feel of these bowls. They have a nice weight to them, the design of the handle makes it easy to grasp and tilt the bowl for whipping and stirring and they nest beautifully. I think I DID need them after all. Oh, and the just LOOK good. If you’re looking (or not) for a set of stainless steel bowls you won’t do better than these!
