Great Gift for Housewarming!

I can't speak to the functionality since it was indeed a gift; however, I highly recommend this product as a gift that you can give for anyone who is venturing into the 'fun' of their first home.

First waffle iron, love it

A very simple waffle maker that makes great waffles every time. Easy to use and just the right size for one or two people.

Love it, BUT the lid gets insanely hot

Love it, BUT the lid gets insanely hot. I have a regular waffle maker and the lid on that thing has a plastic coating and never gets hot so it has taken me several times of burning my hand to remember. I've got it now!! Makes wonderful waffle

This appliance is awesome. I modified the recipe, added 20% corn starch, portion powdered malted milk, 1 tsp baking powder to Krusteaz waffle mix. The first waffle was a little weird, difficult to judge batter consistency, but subsequent waffles came out perfect. keeping waffles warm 200 F on open rack for about 5 minutes. All remaining waffles were allowed to come to room temp. them put into a plastic bag & frozen. Lightly toasted, delicious. Very filling, big fat waffles ...

Had a good and reliable recommendation of this particular waffle iron, so when it went on sale, I purchased it.

I like it so well I am ordering another one for our cabin in the woods.

This makes awesome waffles, evenly browned, crispy and delicious. It works better than my old, much more expensive Villaware waffle baker. The timer buzzer is quite loud, but ensures that I don't ignore it. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the quality of the waffler.
