Extra Grilling

The Elevated Cooking Grate give me more room to add the additional items I want to grill. When doing steaks, and bake potatoes, and corn on the cob, on my grill, the Elevated Cooking Grate gives me the room to cook the bacon I love to add to my baked potatoes. There is nothing like grilled bacon flavor to added to a baked potato.

Elevated Cooking Grate - AWESOME

I wish I would have purchased this when they first came out. If you smoke with the Slow-n-Sear regularly then you need this. It practically doubles the surface area in your grill. I'm sure the finish will hold up great and it is well made. I know the grill grate that came with my Slow-n-Sear can still be cleaned to a mirror finish after 4 years worth of use. You won't regret this grate, and you certainly get what you pay for.

I recently bought a kettle and outfitted it with the SnS 2.0, the Drip n Griddle deluxe, the Easy Spin grate and finally the stainless steel Elevated Grate. Yes the kettle becomes heavy, but these accessories convert the kettle into a very efficient and easy to use small quantity smoker. The elevated grate is so easy to use, clean, and doubles the capacity of the kettle when the SnS is being used. Which I think will be always.
