Simple, compact way to manage washed dishes
I live in an RV so space is a premium. I have bought 2 other drainers but they were either too small or got water all over the counter. This one works for my dishes and has 6 separate utensil holders plus a drain plug that can be opened or closed. It folds away neatly so that I keep it nearby. Finally something that makes this task simpler!
love it
This is so lovely. Love the design looks modern. Fits great on the counter. Would recommend. What a great addition to my kitchen.
Good concept and well designed
Although this was designed to go next to a sink, we use ours inside it. We had to remove the flip down spout so it would fit. It drains fairly well. I just wish the back legs were slightly longer to increase the angle of drainage.
Repeat buy of a great product
I bought this dish rack the first time more than 5 years ago. LIke all OXO products, it is excellent. There is a place for everything. It is easy to clean. The only reason that I replaced it (with this recent purchase) was that the silverware containers had developed hardwater stains that I just couldn't remove any longer. I would buy it again and again
Love the product so far. very few downside.
I've been using this rack for almost 2 years and this is the only one that I like so far. I used to have stainless rack, but it was really hard to find a 'real' stainless rack. Although they were selling them as 'stainless' but it wasn't. But this one! is my favorite. One downside is that the water does not flow and drain since the slope is not really steep. So every time after dish, I had to lift it up a little bit so it can drain the water. Also the water stains after using 2 weeks, so don't forget to wash the rack with a soap every 2 weeks. Overall, the product itself is acceptable.
What's great ? It has 2 removable cups so cleaning is esay. Not so great? It doesn't allow air to properly circulate to dry your dishes. With my last one, I'd return home from work and all the dishes were dry. This one, not so much. They are still wet so I'd end up drying with a towel . So that's that. Also plates do not hold properly in their slot! I hate that so much. They keep sliding off which is totally annoying!
Ugly but very functional.
Very functional and drains the water well. The utensil container was cracked, but that was mentioned in the description. It otherwise works exactly as expected. It is also quite ugly. I keep it folded up under the sink and pull it out only when I need it. Am very glad that I didn't pay full price ($40) I am writing this review about 2 years after I bought it and it is still working just great. In fact I've taken my pretty stainless steel drainboard and put it under the sink and replaced it with this ugly one. The pots and pans fit so much better than with the prettier ones!
Good Value on Sale
I have been using this rack daily for a year now. I bought it on sale and think it is a good value. I keep it out on the counter and don't fold it up for storage. It has a good angle for the drainage and does well doing so other than a bit in the corners sometimes. It does get a little funky and needs a good cleaning from time to time. All the parts come off easy for this and pop right back in with ease. My only complaint would be a little bit of staining from what im guessing is the hard water we have here in Florida.
Large Dishrack but Poor Drainage
I purchased this in-store some time ago so it's had good use since I bought it and although reasonably spacious, I wouldn't buy another one. The design idea is good but poorly executed; The sides drop away from the centre of the drainer, thus collecting water in the front corners (which need cleaning ALL the time!). Also, the online description suggest that there is room for ten mugs... this is way off... yes, there are ten pegs (5x each side) but only space for two mugs each side, taking up 2x pegs per mug. Also, the bottoms of the cutlery holders have disintegrated. Disappointed.
Overall a great dish rack
I have had this dish rack for several years now. Positives: it is spacious, holds glasses, plates and utensils. It is easy to clean. Negatives: the little drain spout detaches easily and is a pain to re-attach. The utensil holders are a sturdy plastic, but the bottom of them are thin pieces of plastic in a grid style, and they break. Mine are hollowed out now. I wish I could just buy replacements for those instead of a whole new dish rack. Overall, though, it is my favorite dish rack.
