Nice design and functions well. I had never thought vertical towel holders offered much over just standing the roll carefully on a clean counter. I decided to try this because it was inexpensive and now see big advantages (e.g., easier to measure out sheets and no tipping over risk).

wow I love this paper towel holder

Hard to get enthusiastic over such a product but when you have gone through some tip overs and bad tears trying to get at your paper towels you know what I mean. This towel holder stays upright and yes, you really can use just one hand to get a good grip on a towel and expect it to tear off along the dotted line.

Looks good, spins nicely, but is way too tall (well, maybe 5cm) for a standard roll of paper towel that you get in Australia. No idea where they got the super-tall roll in the photos. A bunch of the grey spindle will be visible.

This is a simple paper towel holder. It has a weighted non slip base for extra stability and also fits the large roll since the base is flat. It is easy to load the paper towel on and also to remove it. It does not slide and sits firmly in one place. Easy to grab one paper towel with one hand. Even my kids are able to get a sheet by themselves. It has a convenient carrying knob for easy transport. It is a good paper towel holder and I would recommend it.

This OXO good grips steady paper towel holder does exactly what it claims to do and i love it! I can grab a paper towel one handed and it rips perfectly where i want it to everytime. It can hold regular and jumbo size rolls easily. It has a raised lip on the lower part to keep the roll in place.

I received the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Paper Towel Holder. This came at the perfect time as I was in need of a new one. I really like the simplicity yet functionality. The stainless steel, modern look goes well with my other appliances and it fits perfectly on my kitchen countertop. I like that I can use any sized paper towels with its raised base lip. It is fairly easy to rip one towel at a time which is surprising because I’m used to having to hold the roll in place or having the metal piece there to help. The base is weighted and non-slip so you don’t have to worry about it sliding all over the countertop. There’s also a hand carrying knob on the top in case you want to carry it from room to room. Overall, I’m very happy with this OXO product. If you are looking for a modern, sturdy and functional paper towel holder than look no further.

Very nice paper towel holder

Has grips that gold the paper towel roll in place allowing for a easy tear, and with one hand. It doesnt move around on the counter when you go to tear a paper towel off. The stainless steel design is very classy also and goes great with my other stainless steel appliances. Very happy with it.

Simple, sturdy, & functional design

Absolutely love this paper towel holder. It’s sturdy, & simple, but so incredibly functional! Oxo products really have perfected design elements so they not only do the job intended, but they look nice too. I was worried my extra large paper towel rolls might not fit, but they fit perfectly! Might also grab another one to put a roll of my garbage bags on. Definitely recommend!

Space saver

OXO GG steady paper towel holder is exactly what it says STEADY. I have never had a paper towel holder so easy to use. It's easy to put paper towels on it and it's heavy enough to not move when you are tearing paper towels off. It's beautiful design and color is a welcome addition to any kitchen

I really like my OXO GG Steady Paper Towel Holder. This paper towel holder works great! It has a bit of a weight to it, so it doesn't tip over when someone takes a paper towel. It has a nice, sturdy base and the part that the paper towels fit on, turns, making it easier to rip off the paper towel. The stainless steel color matches my appliances, and looks great on my countertop.

Perfect amount every time

I never thought I’d be so thrilled over a paper towel holder! My old one’s spindle simply was too big for the brand of paper towels I use. More paper towels were wasted than used because it wouldn’t spin, leading to too much coming off or repeated turning and tearing. This spindle gross the rolls but spins freely so I can grab just as many as I need and no more. It’s easy to wipe down and fits in perfectly with rest of my kitchen decor.

Not worth the purchase

I never like to give such a low rating, but this paper towel holder was a disappointment. The base is definitely not weighted enough to allow me to just rip off a towel or two. You need to use 2 hands..one to hold the base and one to rip the towel off even with a brand new roll on it. Pretty disappointed
