Gets the job done. Does what it says it should
I got this item as a Christmas gift and used it that day for mashed pototoes. It was so wonderful to have a masher that didn't bend when using it.

LOOKING FOR THIS MASHER FOR A LONG TIME
A bit overpriced... Bought anyway because I've been looking for a while for this particular type of masher. Great for making egg salad. Not sure about the quality yet...

Bad design flaw. Rivet the Head on!
I purchased this masher believing it was good quality. Used it the first time....and it broke!... had to return it.....the head of the masher is not riveted....

Food Masher - more uses than mashing.
I love this food masher tool. I am biased to this tool because my mother had the same tool and worked with one when she worked for the school cafeteria when I was young. She used it to mass press peanut butter cookies quicker than using a traditional fork double cross motion. She would sugar dip it or flour dip it before pressing so it wouldn't stick so much when pressing the cookies. My Mom's cookies were always large and this distinct impression was her mark. Fond memories in our home.
