Over weight Pauli was slow in eating the first couple nights but then, had his dinner "gone" as usual. No slowing down our "Fat Albert". Donated bowl to the vets.

Great product. I've used plastic ones before but for my lab, this size and stainless steel is much better for his snout and doesn't create a sore on lip from plastic.

Bought 2 and I like the bowls themselves BUT the rubber keeps slipping off the one; it is very hard for an old lady with arthritic hands to constantly try and refit the rubber .

Slower eating is better

The bowl succeeds with slower eating and it is a nice size for medium size dog.

So, our 4 month old lab didn’t like the other slow feeders because well, they’re slow. So she would pick them up and spill the contents. We should have named her Snoopy because she also carries her bowls around, until now. This bowl slows the gobbler, but is still easy enough to not be frustrating. It’s a keeper.

There are so many slow feeder bowls available, it was hard to chose. These are perfect and are so easy to clean.

I love the look of this bowl even though my smarty dog has figured it out and eats too fast again. I may need to get a puzzle eating bowl.

Disappointed

I have a large 80 pound Doodle and this bowl didn't slow her down a bit. She still able to scarf her food down. Disappointing at best.

Bowl stays where you put it.

My dog used to move her bowl all over while eating her dinner. This bowl stays where you put it. And it does seem to slow her down so no more air in her tummy from bolting her dinner. The stainless steel is easy to clean and hygienic so that’s a plus.

Good non skid-non tip bowl but find it a bit narrow at the bottom and my bigger dog gets frustrated. Thinking it's better for smaller breeds.

my pup can get her muzzle into the bowl enough that her whiskers constantly brush against the sides and irritate her enough that she jumps back and waits a moment to calm down before going back to eat.

Exactly what my dog needed

No disappointment here! My dog had recently been almost inhaling his food—which was causing gastrointestinal problems. This bowl is the perfect size (and well represented in the advertisement), and has managed to slow my dog’s eating pace; he did not seem to notice the different bowl, either!

The stainless steel bowl is good quality. However, the rubber ring around the edge does not fit tightly. Slips off easily, making the dish slide on the floor.
