Don’t waste your money!

I bought the DeLonghi Opera two months ago, to replace the DeLonghi Arte, so far I own two junk, unable to brew a decent cup of coffee, the max temp just reach 140 degrees Fahrenheit, just warm, no temperature adjustment possible, definitely I don’t recommend it, a waste of money!

Excellent!! Great coffee every time. Easy to adjust to suit beans and froths perfectly. Steaming is perfect every time. Cold espresso shots are great and can’t wait to try the cold brew function

Just a horrible unit all around

Just received this unit by far is the worst coffee I ever had And the worst espresso I ever had stay far away from this product and probably all their other machines. Hopefully they will Accept return it within 30 days. Otherwise, it will be the biggest waste of money of my life so far after 20 coffees it told me to do an D scaleand I hadn’t even got it dialed in totally undrinkable. You’d be better going to McDonald’s for coffee.

[Rewarded Review] Overall good experience

Overall a good machine, it heats up really fast and is ready to use within seconds. The steam wand is also ready to use almost immediately and is double insulated so if you touch it by accident it wont burn you. I am still playing with the grind size because sometimes it pours the shot too slow/fast. I am also having trouble with it tamping evenly which defeats the purpose of a built in tamper. But other than that I really like it.

Love this machine!

I purchased my espresso machine mid November and love it. It brews a very smooth Cold Brew, the Americano is great and the espresso is wonderful too. I have used the steamer and it creates a nice steamed milk. I had wanted an espresso machine for a while, and I finally decided in this model and I’m very happy with it.

Schlechtes Mahlwerk

Keine Kaufempfehlung, außer man kauft ein extra Mahlwerk. Obwohl wir schon auf feinster Mahlstufe waren, wurde es sehr grob und unregelmäßig gemahlen. Die Maschine konnte keinen Druck aufbauen, es kam somit ein wässriger Espresso raus.

I like it but very expensive

Great upgrade

Have just upgraded from our original La Specialista machine which we loved for the last 4 years . The Opera which we just bought is a significant improvement on the older model . The Opera is ultra consistent in the coffee that it produces ,in fact it is more consistent than a lot of coffee shops , cannot rate it high enough.

Great until the warranty runs out

We've had this espresso machine for 2 years, 11 months. We've loved the coffee it made and the ease of making our coffee each morning. Unfortunately recently a piece of plastic broke off from the supporting structure for the portafilter, on the main coffee body. I attempted to look up replacement parts for it but was surprised that this piece that broke off is integral to the machine itself and has no replacement part, it requires full replacement of the entire machine.

J'étais très enthousiaste à l'idée de recevoir cette machine à expresso. Cependant, elle est absolument énorme ! A moins que vous n'ayez une grande cuisine, cette machine n'est pas pour vous. Cependant, elle fait un excellent café au lait et j'aurais vraiment aimé avoir plus de place pour elle. Dans l'ensemble, je donne une note de 9/10 à cette machine, mais sa taille fait que je lui donne une note de 5/10.

Great item, great coffee, just do not use Purolator. It's a nightmare :)
