It does the job processing tomatoes into juice and pulp
It does the job processing tomatoes into juice and pulp. Ideally I would choose electrified processor. Manual is too much of the hussle.
The directions would have been clearer qith puctures. I kept having to refer qht each piece was called so the assembly took longer than expected. once assembled it did work as expected. Just a heads up: continue to crank after all tomatoes have gone through and even push last ones through to get all the sauce from them.
So much easier
So far, so good! Worked up my boxes of tomatoes in a flash. Next week I will be using it for applesauce. I love my WestonSupply Sauce maker and food strainer!
excellent product
Very well worth the money. I will start with the downsides first.

I love this product. I highly recommend it for everyone that cans it saves you time and it very durable. I have friends that have electric ones and it plugs all the time this one has never ever given me any issues. I share this with my friends and I’ve had numerous friends by the same product.
Time saver
Where have you been all my life?! This item cuts my prep time in half. Tip: If you freeze and then thaw your tomatoes before you use them, you can squeeze out a lot of water which reduces your simmer time on the sauce.
Completely Aweful
I was excited to get this. However, it is a complete mess of a product. It falls apart while using it, clogs up while doing tomatoes, you have to run the tomatoes through it several times for it to actually squeeze off the juice/sauce. It constantly drips out of the handle, IF handle decides actually stay attached.
[Rewarded Review] Best kitchen helper
I love this. It took all of the seeds and skin out of the tomatoes. All you have to do is quarter them and put them in the machine, turn the crank and you end up with beautiful juice/sauce without all of the hard work.
[Rewarded Review] Very helpful and easy
I used this for help in canning tomatoes. I am new to canning. This product was very helpful and time efficient. I would recommend this!
[Rewarded Review] Sauce/Food strainer maker ....
This is " Gold " .... A 100% buy if you are looking to sauce up those tomatoes from the garden for homemade tomato sauce. For those looking to just " Stew " up your tomatoes .... no, this is not for you. But for me, a great investment to fill up the freezer for the winter from the garden. You can do other sauce making things .... applesauce for example along with other things. ( just a heads up ) I will say I went to Amazon for the extra accessories for making for jams, squashes, etc because it was cheaper to buy such through Amazon then Walmart for those. Sorry Walmart I just have to shop where I can save a bit here and there. It is a great product.
Works well
I’ve only used this on tomatoes, and it did a great job. I did run the scraps through 3 or 4 additional times to extract all the juice & pulp. It does get clogged after about 4 hoppers full and has to be disassembled and cleaned, but still a lot quicker than blanching, peeling & straining the seeds.
I had a bumper crop of tomatoes this summer (2023). My new tomato strainer arrived just in time. The 177 lbs yielded spaghetti, pizza, and BBQ sauce, soup, ketchup, and various types of canned tomatoes. I ran the skins through twice then dehydrated them to use as tomato powder for stews and cocktail sauce. I did all this in 3 days versus last year's week and a half. The strainer worked like a charm. It stayed firmly attached to my counter top, did not leave a mark when I released the suction feature. No mess and easy clean up. I've been canning food for over 45 years. I've used several types of preparation devices over the years. This is by far the most efficient and cleanest one to date. (and just in time for my old age...I've been wondering how much longer I would be up to the task of canning and preserving the produce from our garden. Thanks to my new strainer I'm going to have a few more years left).
Good item.
Bought as a gift. Hope it’s as good as the Sqeezo I bought my mother forty years ago. Not really liking the plastic spiral. The squeeze has a stainless steel one.
[Rewarded Review] Great product for the price.
Haven’t used it. Bought it as a Christmas gift. I did compare it to the one I paid $129.99 and it was exactly the same except the top is different. Wish I’d have ordered two of these instead of the all stainless steel one. This one was only $49.99.
[Rewarded Review] The very best i've tried many nothing tops this
So I unfortunately tried many different brands... electric and manual. This one by far it's the best! Remove the seeds and skin at first. Pass crunches through many tomatoes very quickly and if you want to go back and get extra juice and pulp, you just run it through again. I run it through three times and the machine keeps on working and never gets clogged. It makes for a very thick sauce to start with and then if you want to reduce it down to even thicker on the stove. Obviously that's your option but the initial sauce is very thick! I wish it was electric, but on the other hand it serves 2 purposes. It makes wonderful tomato sauce and strengthens your arm!!!
This is the best little machine for taking seeds out of tomatoes. Also does great applesauce! Easy to clean. It easily goes back in its original box for storage. It has a suction cup on the base so it doesn’t move.
What a gem of a machine!
Works like a charm. I did not think it would do the job but we processed 46 pounds of tomatoes and it separated out the seeds/skins and produced absolutely wonderful crushed tomatoes. It didn’t jam up. It saved us so much time as we didn’t have to blanch the whole tomatoes and remove skins and seeds. It is worth every penny!!
Saved me hours!
I would definitely recommend if you have a large batch of fruit to mill. I sent my husband to the store to get 15 lb of apples and because of the price he came back with 90 lb. which made a total of 126 lb. 80 lb was done with the smell and the rest were hand-peeled with machines. I would definitely recommend this. now I can't wait for tomato season.
Don’t know how I managed without it all these years
Does a great job of separating out skins and seeds from tomatoes. Also used it for baby food pear sauce. Apples were the hardest to press even after being softened. That said, it made excellent apple sauce.
Works Well
Should have bought this maker from Home Depot.
