I love this spotlight. The last one I owned I ran over it with my pickup and it still work fine for several years after. Can't go wrong with this durable spotlight!

Powerful light-if that is what you want this is the one. Excellent for long distance shots, recharges well, and is good protection for unwanted guests whether animal or human.

Works exactly the way it was intended, no fancy settings are different light settings. Turn it on you have light, turn it off and it’s dark, no strobe no nothing fancy. Oh and yes the light does project a beam a good distance, perfect for looking for animals at night.

I live in the country, so there are a lot of coyotes. I use the flashlight to keep an eye on my dogs when they go out at night. it lights up the surrounding area that I point it at so I can see if there is any danger. love mine. thank you

Second time owning this light. It is incredibly bright, close to the spotlight on a police car . It is reliable and I had the first one close to 10 years before it finally wouldn't charge anymore. Haven't really used it to charge any devices so can't speak to that function.

Problem with charging but nice bright light

Initial charge took 5 hours.

It's nice to step into the night and be able to instantly illuminate the area with a blast of light out a 100 yards or more, then lower the volume with one click to tend to the dog. The Fat Max charges up easily in the home outlet, no worry about fading batteries. A BIG look - just what we wanted!

Outstanding spotlight!!

Excellent spotlight. Much brighter than my EverStart Maxx SL5HE which failed after 9 months of very little use.

You can easily see a great distance in a yard or campsite. I also keep one in my car for safety. I found out about it when I saw a foundation professional use it to shine a light under the house from one side clear to the other.

Everything I need in a spotlight & more!

These are great! I have one in each of my vehicles for emergency's or what have you. We camp a lot and drive down a lot of back roads so it's great for spotting wildlife at night. It's very bright and you can adjust the brightness by pressing the switch. Very lightweight as well. We can also charge our cell phone off of it and can recharge it both in the car or at home so I feel it's very versatile. I'm an amateur astronomer so the red filter that comes with it may come in handy, I haven't thought to try it. Also haven't used the folding stand, but can see how it would come in handy. It comes with everything you need to keep it charged. I think when buying my first one I read complaints that they don't hold their charge very long. I haven't found that to be a problem, though, I don't have it on for hours at a time. As mentioned, I leave them in our vehicles and every time I pick one up to use it, the battery is charged (and I don't recharge them until they show signs of needing it). Overall for what you get for the price, I think they're great!

It’s a Christmas present so it hasn’t been used yet. No hiding the packaging spells it all out. My husband carried in his own present.

Excellent Performance not sure on Overall Quality

I have always had use for a good spotlight at night due to the animal predators who lurk around our property often trying to lure our dogs out for their midnight snack. In other words the spotlight workability and reliability is very important. At first the Stanley Fatmax Spotlight was everything I had looked for the longest time. Well a short while after purchasing the spotlight it will charge correctly but only has a dim light. Not the quality im used to with most Stanley products.

Bright and Durable

Extremely bright light (on max), just as advertised. Comfort grip is ideal for pointing the light without strain on the arm/wrist. The 'kick-stand' for setting down the light is handy and offers a limited range of focus for the beam. This seems very durable, and the added USB charging ability is also a nice plus to the package deal.

I previously had a Fatmax spotlight which I bought several years ago for Security graveyard shifts. It was truly a workhorse, up until I lost it by my forgetfulness leaving it on top of a vehicle that drove off, it was still working strong. Hopefully this newer improved version lasts just as long.

Great flashlight!!

I've owned this flashlight for about 4 years now. It just started to not keep its charge so I`m definitely purchasing a new one. Great light. Charged lasted a long time. Used when night fishing. Was absolutely worth the price. Hoping the new one works as good as my old one!!!

This flashlight is fantastic. It meets all my need when walking my dogs at night. My only complaint is in recharging it. I could not find any information on whether the battery can be overcharged. Right now, I am forced to keep it near me when charging to make sure it isn’t still connected to an electrical source once the green light stops blinking. That is my only complaint.

LOVE IT!

I absolutely LOVE this light! Its every bit as bright as an old school Q-Beam but only half the size - and no cord! The battery life is simply amazing - I've used it at full power for over an hour and didn't notice the least bit of dimming. If you're in the market for a rechargeable spotlight I can't recommend the FatMax highly enough.
