Do NOT but this pump, It's a fire hazard.

I am shocked they are aloud to advertise this for its "intended purpose". Having the same issues as all the reviews I have read. Didn't have another option so I gambled on this unit. I can box this thing up and return it, but I've lost a lot of time over this.

Invest in check valves

I bought 3 of these pumps for my tattoo shop....one of them had a bad check valve right away....replaced it and it was fine....then another one went bad after being fully installed....had to pull everything out and go back in the wall....fingers are crossed for the third one....my advice is to go ahead and buy check valves when you get the pumps

Smoked!

Hardly used sink (less than 50 gallons).

Low-cost option for adding a sink almost anywhere.

Easy to install but could be better designed. Having a threaded female output creates a huge risk for a cracked housing.

Quiet for a week super loud

After 3 weeks the pump progressively got louder started with squeaky sounds now Its louder than my garbage disposal by far. I have reached out to zoeller to see if they will replace this pump or not this can’t be normal we will see the outcome. If replaced or resolved I will edit this post, I should not have to take it apart in my opinion.

same story, light use. just humms now and doesn't

installed, worked for 4 months. now just hums. kind of hard to return something to lowes when the receipts are printed with that ink that fades and disappears.

Pump Failed after 9 months of minimal use

Hooked up the pump per instructions, noisy but did function as expected, but after 9 months of very minimal usage it just hummed, and didn't pump water and then an odor of burning plastic. Took it apart and turned the impellers, reinstalled it but same humming and not pumping water and burnt plastic smell.

Works exactly as described.

Works exactly as advertised. Solidly built. Good instructions for the non plumber- including exactly what parts to get at Lowes for an easy connection to existing drain lines without a vent. Would buy again.

So Far So Good

So far so good. But can't give 5 stars until it proves its worth over time. Already here a strange noise after the pump stops operating. Hopefully its nothing.

Barely pumps

Brand new out of the box, the pump cannot keep up with minimal water flow from faucet. pumps about 1/8 per minute. Only 9 foot rise. Not sure if it is a defective pump, but not impressed I have to remove to investigate less two weeks old and only used a couple times.

Easy to install and works well

This pump was easy to install and worked well. Having a ball valve and check valve included with the pump contributed to the easy installation! My only criticism is that the ball valve was PVC and the check valve was ABS with a female slip joint. This required switching piping from one material to the other. Having f-NPT threads on both sides of the check valve would have simplified connecting to my home DWV system.

sink pump

Ordered on line on 11/10 received 11/12. Installed the unit a few days later. Unit was very noisy.I removed the impeller cover and found the impeller blades were rubbing against the impeller cover. I removed the impeller and gently sanded the ends of the blades. Reinstalled and the unit is a lot quieter.Instructions say that you need 61/2 feet of rise for the discharge pipe from the check valve. I'm only 2 feet and no problem. Hope the pictures help.

Utility Water Pump

This pump is part of my utility tub in the basement. It activates each time the water runs and pushes the water through the tube. My original one burned out and I needed another. The home warranty company did not cover this item and the technicians that assessed the issue quoted $750.00 to do the job all in. I research the pump, Lowe's had it, I picked it up, and my neighbor quarterback the procedure. The pump, supplies, and my neighbor's help was accomplished for under $350.00. Totally satisfied.

Absolute garbage

Have to take it apart and clean it every use, but there's never anything in it. Gets very noisy if you pump hot water through it. Do not buy this. Buy one with the bucket/reservoir and float switch. If I could return this I would but I got rid of the box. It's currently sitting unplugged with the sink full of water because I don't want to mess with taking it apart again. Waste of money!

Good service

The sensor on the first pump that I received was not functioning. Unfortunately there is no way of detecting this flaw before installing it. It also requires my having to uninstall and return to Lowe's then having to reorder it and waiting another week for delivery. Other then these issues, the pump is working well for the past week. The company does stand y the product.
