3-Year Lifespan Max
Works for 3-years which is the time it’s guaranteed for. We’ve bought four Starfrit Can Openers and have to replace them every 3-years. Just stops gripping and cutting the can even with regular rinsing in warm soapy water.

I like how it leaves the edges of the cans but some cans are quite difficult to get it to work on. It can be fairly hard to turn also. I like it but not greatly impressed.
