Damaged items and very poor customer service

Do not purchase this furniture. I ordered 2 nightstands, 1 dresser and 1 chest at a cost of almost $2,000. Only 1 nightstand arrived undamaged. The drawers were not aligned and corners splintered and squashed and even a crack on the front of one item. These had clearly been damaged during transit as the boxes were pretty beat up. When I contacted Sam's for a replacement (these items were and are still showing as available for purchase) I was told they would only be able to offer a full refund for me. This was a shame as the furniture was just what I was looking for. I received very poor customer service, and it took 4 weeks for the items to be collected and a further 7 days for them to acknowledge receipt and now a further 7-10 days for a full refund to be issued. The delay in collection of these items was no fault of mine and was purely down to the mishandling by Sam's customer service department. I had to chase them for updates several times and they never got back to me when they said they would. When I first called Sam's to report the damaged items, I was told to call back the next day as their system was down - I have been left very frustrated and inconvenienced by the whole experience. I thought Sam's were better than this.

Again, another excellent product. This item looks exactly like the image and has good quality for the price. Make sure to always use a coaster for beverages because a ring will show up. You are able to get it off though.

Well made, beautiful color, quality piece. Very pleased with purchase as well as on time delivery.

In the shipping one stand was damaged and we had to have it shipped back. However the one not damaged is beautiful! Love how it lights up underneath!

Nice night stand

Disappointed in customer service,

I got the nightstand tightly packed and had to tear the box off to open it. When I got it out, it had a bash on the front of the top drawer. I called to get it replace and was told I couldn’t because I didn’t have all the original packing. The exterior box was not damaged. This had to have been packaged with the drawer already damaged. I think that’s shoddy business practices.

The finish on this nightstand is great! Drawers work smoothly. It's very sturdy and much bigger than I thought looking at the pictures. Gonna be happy with this purchase for a long time.
