Good Product / Terrible Customer Service by Lowes

Purchased the dresser set and noticed one item was damaged within 72 hours of delivery. Contacted Lowes who directed me to the manufacturer to resolve, manufacturer couldn't resolve because the service contract with Lowes does not allow them to work directly with the consumer to this regard, customer service at corporate noted I can return the whole set to replace the damaged dresser. Needless to say, this is ongoing, so buyer beware in purchasing furniture sets from Lowes as they don't have any idea on how to return one item of the set you purchased. Stuff weighs 1200+ pounds all together and is already in my room...hoping to get this resolved soon however have a feeling this will continue to be escalated until a reasonable resolution is found. Good luck to anyone else that finds this out the hard way.

Damaged items and very poor customer service

Do not purchase this furniture. I ordered 2 nightstands, 1 dresser and 1 chest at a cost of almost $2,000. Only 1 nightstand arrived undamaged. The drawers were not aligned and corners splintered and squashed and even a crack on the front of one item. These had clearly been damaged during transit as the boxes were pretty beat up. When I contacted Sam's for a replacement (these items were and are still showing as available for purchase) I was told they would only be able to offer a full refund for me. This was a shame as the furniture was just what I was looking for. I received very poor customer service, and it took 4 weeks for the items to be collected and a further 7 days for them to acknowledge receipt and now a further 7-10 days for a full refund to be issued. The delay in collection of these items was no fault of mine and was purely down to the mishandling by Sam's customer service department. I had to chase them for updates several times and they never got back to me when they said they would. When I first called Sam's to report the damaged items, I was told to call back the next day as their system was down - I have been left very frustrated and inconvenienced by the whole experience. I thought Sam's were better than this.

Beautiful bedroom set

No white glove delivery. Was dropped off in front of garage. It's so beautiful. Packaged well no damage to any of the furniture. Love the color.

Love the product hate the shipping process

The product is awesome and a great color. Easy to move and light weight. I only had assemble the bed the other parts come ready to go. The only thing that was bad was the shipping process. The vendor turned it over to some shipping company who contacts you via text. They have a website that tells you nothing other than it will be there soon. The shipping vendor turned it over to a third party who you could not contact the local office. You call the national office who transfers you back to the local office who doesn’t answer the call or the message you leave. Luckily my wife was home when the shipping vendor showed up for deliver with no notification. Dropped the stuff on the street and left it, if it had been a rainy day it would have ruined the product

Attractive and Sturdy

I've had this bed for a couple years. It is as attractive as it is sturdy. I am very pleased with the look and quality.

Sets the whole bedroom mood

Very sturdy, well built, gorgeous!! The colors are deep and dark, just as pictured. Saw this same set for much more in a furniture store nearby.

Many broken pieces, reship was even worse.

Sadly, the furniture and the shipping are both lacking on these pieces. The first time the night stand had the legs broken off and the boards for the bed were snapped, so you can not put the bed together. Even worse is they have to reorder the whole set, you cannot get just the broken pieces. It is listed as white glove shipping, and that is untrue, at least where I live. When they sent the replacement, they said it would be white glove and would get a call for delivery, NOPE. Just arrived FedEx freight in my driveway. The whole set is 1400 lbs or so, and again. I had to unwrap and unload the pallet. Multiple broken items, but I only cared about the bed frame. I thought if just one of the rails is correct I can fix this and it will be all good.... nope. Ends completely sheared off... and guess what, it isn't real wood as they say. It's all cardboard melamine. I have the pictures. The legs look like wood but appear to be a veneer stuck to compressed engineered wood and is unrepairable. I now have multiple broken pieces, hundreds of pounds of bulky trash, and no garage space. I am beyond unhappy with this set. Really uncool as it isn't like I can load it up into my truck and return it... buyer beware on this set.

finish on wood

Love the looks of it, but the finish itself is quite rough. I got a very large splinter in my hand while putting it together. You will have to be cautious when changing the sheets!

Some cheaper Wooden components for Feet resulted in split plywood. Repairing to make usable.

Poor finish

The finish on the side rails is basically paper tape, not paint, not varnish. The supposed “white glove” delivery is a couple of guys who asked me to sign their paperwork and feedback form as soon as they got off the truck, banged the boxes on my walls and new flooring, then asked me if I can just put the bed together myself. It was a horrible experience.

Great set up.

Very solid bed frame. You will need a box spring though or an elevated foundation. If not, your head will be below the bottom of the headboard.

Great solid bed for Sleep Number

The bed is solid and heavy. Our Sleep Number 360 p5 bed fits perfect in it.

Queen bed

Gorgeous bed! Only one complain, wish I new it needed a base too.

Good Quality

Item is as it appears. Did arrive with some chips in side boards. Overall good quality furniture.
