The plastic is warped making the kitchen off kilter in 2 places . One being the center of the kitchen at the sink sticks up and the stove doesn’t line up

Cute kitchen

Cute kitchen. It has lots of great features and looks very nice but the cupboard doors do not stay closed (from day 1) and the drawers have no stoppers so they come the whole way out when opening. They do go back in easily but the cupboard doors not closing is a disappointment.

Flawed Set, HORRIBLE Customer Service

My daughter has fun with the kitchen, but it does have some flaws. The cabinet doors do not line up correctly (this part came already assembled), the oven button plastic piece was stripped so it doesn't fit correctly, the oven knob sticker is way too big, and the food is TINY and unrealistic. But, the worst part about this set was the customer service. HORRIBLE! When I tried to return the set prior to assembly, the call agent talked over me, raised her voice, told me I was wrong, and hung up on my. This was definitely not deserved as I was very pleasant to her. Make note: you will not want to return this item as it will cost you almost the whole price to simply ship it back.

My daughter absolutely adored her kitchen play set! It was a breeze to assemble, although we did encounter a minor issue with a few missing screws. However, that didnt dampen the overall experience. The play set brought so much joy and imaginative play into our home. Its definitely a purchase I would recommend for any little ones who love pretend cooking adventures!

Kit hen set that’s thin plastic stove and ref door

I dislike because I didn’t realize the doors to the stove and refrigerator are then plastic. The one I had before was the hard sturdy plastic like the kitchen counter top. But it’s now then plastic and the daycare children wood stand on the stove door once pull down. Not now I have to stop them in their tracks because of the thin plastic. Sad I gave the other away. But as long as you keep and eye on the toddler not climbing your good. 😉

The instructions were like bad photo copies and hard to understand. I pulled the photos up on the website and put it together from the pictures. The two screw holes were missing on the sides of the counter top and and no screw holes on the back where the cardboard backsplash goes. It is impossible to penetrate the plastic so I had to leave the counter top unsecured and tape the backsplash to the back.

Cute, but extremely hard to put together

This is super cute with a bunch of awesome features! But it is extremely hard to put together. The directions are TERRIBILE and you will need a drill!!!! You will not be able to put this together with just a screwdriver, as the directions imply. I'm disappointed the backsplash behind the sink is cardboard. Overall, I do think it's a nice kitchen and very interactive. Ours showed up with a dent I didn't notice until I was finishing putting it together.

I was actually a little dissapointed with this considering how much money it cost.

shoddy build quality

generally would have been great; but the holes for ALL of the swinging doors (cabinets, oven, microwave) were drilled out in such a hurry that they're awful. some are extremely tight, most are not even round holes so the doors hand crooked. it's a real shame that the defects are self created after the products came out of the mold.

Ok but flawed

Pieces arrives with some holes not opened to snap together and screw together. Had to manually try to open where holes should be. Such as the bottom snap of the fridge door. The back of the cabinets. The doors don’t close completely. Overpriced for the quality of it.

The assembly was difficult

The assembly was difficult. All the screws had no holes so you had to manually make them. Also the most horrible part was when I went to push the back top piece on One out of the Four push holes was not cut out and I had to do so myself which gave me bad blisters on my hand and took me over an hour just to make that hole. Overall the product is nice and very enjoyable but they need to check their products better before sending out something like that the way they did. The product is expensive so I feel as though it should of been a better inspection on it.

Step 2 Life Style Dream Kitchen

Overall we are extremely pleased with the quality of this kitchen for the price. It was the most interactive kitchen based on size that we needed.

Perfect little kitchen for my 2 year old grandaughter. This is the first place she goes when coming to visit. It is just the right size and the sounds make it perfect for realistic kitchen play. With two people it was not too hard to assemble. Unfortunately the kitchen cupboard door on one size does not close completely and the fridge shelves are not quite deep enough to hold all of her pretend cartons. I have added a small table beside the kitchen as there is not a lot of counter space to play on.

Poor quality

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it, 3 year olds don't notice poor quality or defects. For the most part it's a nice toy. The cupboard doors do not shut all the way. One stays open about an inch and a half the other 3/4in. Refrigerator door closes all the way at the top but the bottom has a 1/2" gap. Oven door left side closes all the way right side 1/2" gap. There are other cosmetic defects here and there. To me it resembles a return item that was resold and we got the luck of the draw. I know my daughter don't care about the things I mentioned, but I sure do.

Not perfect, but still a great kitchen.

I did a TON of research before purchasing this kitchen. I’m so glad I read the reviews. It’s definitely not perfect, but I’m still happy with the purchase. I love that the oven, microwave, and phone all have working buttons. The light is great. And the noises of the burner is the best part!! The cabinets do not close all the way and the refrigerator door is tough to open/close. The only cabinet doors that came assembled are uneven. Assembly took approx 2 hours for 2 adults, and the decals took additional time. One of the decals had to be cut because it didn’t fit. A drill is definitely needed.

DREAM KITCHEN

OH MY GOSH - This product is AMAZING - I just purchased this for a Christmas gift for my Grandson and his sister . I have the same one at my house for the past several years - and it is so sturdy and still looks brand new. It is made so well, the light over this sink is adorable and the kids have so much fun with this set that I own. And this will make my grandkids day getting this on Christmas. Everything I own that is Step 2 (which I still have from raising my 4 children), still look brand new and the grandkids are now enjoying these items that were used by their parents. Your company makes solid well made toys, and I can't thank you enough. This kitchen set is THE BEST - just so fun and made so well !!!!!!!

Great product but with a flaw

Love the storage and counter space that comes with this kitchen. After looking at a lot of other people play kitchens I found that this one had offered counter space and a good bit of storage as well as noise making functions for the oven, microwave, and stove (which my child really enjoys). The reason I gave it only 4 stars is the fact that some of the cabinets do not close properly. These cabinets that do not close we’re already attached to the larger part of the kitchen at the manufacturer. Therefore, it wasn’t an error that I made when trying to assemble at home. Despite the cabinet doors, I do think my child will enjoy this for several years.

Cute! But far from perfect

This product is really cute. But very hard to put together and we had to improvise to screw some of the peaces in. Especially the stove remote. That was unbelievable because the spot where it goes didn’t line up. There were other issues as well. Also it is made from really flimsy parts not to mention a peace was missing . ( I am calling tomorrow about that). This kitchen could be so nice if it were better quality ( a sign of our times) and if they made it fit together better. So pretty disheartening. Thank goodness my granddaughter won’t notice all of that.

Not worth the cost

During the COVID-19 pandemic I decided to purchase a play kitchen for my daughter since her daycare is closed. After comparing multiple different kitchen sets and reading several different reviews, I decided to purchase the LifeStyle Dream Kitchen. I really like the features of the kitchen, the light above the sink, the sound/light effects on the stove, and the sound effects for the phone, microwave and oven. I was very disappointed when I opened the box to see that I was missing pieces. After I contacted customer service they stated I would be receiving my missing parts in the mail. Then once I built the kitchen I was disappointed once again because one of the drawers does not work properly and the refrigerator door does not close properly. Overall the kitchen is okay but I don’t think it is worth the price. I am tempted to buy a wooden kitchen set.

Has all the bells and whistles!

This little kitchen has so many fun features from the play phone that makes noises to the oven, stovetop and microwave. There’s even a little light over the sink to turn on and off. It makes for a very realistic experience for children and my daughter, 17 months, loves it already! It even came with a few play food pieces which was unexpected and an added bonus! The pots and pans and utensils that come with it are so fun and you get so many to play with. We love this kitchen so far for our little one. The set up was overall easy, just took some time to set up.
