Trash
These are garbage. Thin, not room darkening. I don’t know how they’ll keep out heat or block cold as there’s literally nothing to them. These are the equivalent of a sheer curtain. Don’t waste your money.
[Rewarded Review] Great design!
I have french doors that I use a magnetic rod on. I LOVE the photo idea, I had an extra rod set and did this and my doors look great! I am not great with decor and am so happy I came across these! My house gets late afternoon sun, it gets very warm and I needed something to block it out. These curtains are very well made.
[Rewarded Review] Disappointed
No rods included like described. Only the curtains. I took my order to JcPenny to return and they kept the $15 shipping. Not only was the product not as described, didn't include the hanging rods, but they riped me for $15.
Love it!
I used the curtain on my back door going out on my deck. The colors in my living room are gray and white and sage so this matches perfectly. I love the look and the color and the material is great.
Great Door Curtain
this curtain was wonderful. The fabric is thick and feels like a good quality curtain that will last years to come. the other thing i love is this green color! it perfectfly connects one room to another by playing a nice trick on the eyes.
works perfectly!!
this panel works perfectly for what I needed. my bedroom is on the east side of the house and every morning the sun would shine right into my eyes and wake me up and because of the layout of my room i can't move the bed to a different spot. this panel blocks the sun enough that it doesn't even wake me anymore.
Disappointing, ugly, don't block much light
These are pretty disappointing. They are so cheap and shiny looking it's bizarre. They are also almost black on the backside--the color is not the same on both! So, one side of my French doors would be a medium gray, while the other looks black. These French doors are inside the house (to a den), so the contrast is stark. On top of all that, they're not particularly light blocking, which is the whole reason I bought these instead of some nicer looking curtain. I've bought Sun Zero products in the past, so didn't expect them to look particularly pretty, but I did at least expect them to block light better. Overall, they're disappointing. Not enough better than other French door curtains at light blocking to make up for how awful they look (and feel). I so wish someone would make an attractive opaque French door curtain! Seems the only choices are sheer/semi-sheer (nice looking, pretty lace, etc. but no light blocking/privacy at all), or these awful "blackout" (NOT!) curtains...
5 Stars
This curtain has a sheen you it and is still blocking the sun rays. There is some light passing but keeps the heat out which is why we purchased it. So it will pay for itself in the long run. Nice gray color blends in with the other colors. There is a Velcro strip to attached for gathering at the middle. Overall a positive experience with this purchase.
Great little door cutain panel
I loved this curtain panel! In fact, I bought one for my granddaughter's back door, liked it so much I bought two for my french doors. My daughter liked mine so much she asked me to order her two for her french doors! In all, I have now purchased five of these at different prices! I would have liked to have gotten them all for the sale price I purchased the first one for, however, each time I purchased, the price went up, but I still bought them. They truly do block the sun and keep the Texas heat out! This was an excellent purchase.
Nice but not thick like pictured
No one ever uploads pictures so I did. In the picture the curtain looks thick but as you can see from my pictures it is not! It does however do a good job at blocking out the light if that’s what you want. It is a pretty gray color which I am happy about. There are two holes you can put you rod through but I had to put my rod through the smallest hole because it looked terrible the other way. I rent and I messed my blinds up so I figured I would try this out so I wouldn’t have to keep replacing the blinds and I’m glad I did although it still wasn’t what I was hoping for. For anyone wondering I’m using the white magnetic drapery rod (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) I also got that off the Walmart app as well since they don’t carry it in store and both were fairly cheap! Even though it isn’t as thick as I hoped for I still love the purchase and hopefully this helps anyone looking. We shall see what it looks like come night time/hopefully it isn’t see through enough.
Beautiful addition to the living room
Beautiful look on the front door main entrance. Affords privacy not provided by the lace curtain that had been on the door. I was amazed that it was not at all wrinkled. (It isn’t actually room darkening. I did not need that-only privacy. If you need room darkening this might not serve your needs.)
5 Stars
Love love love this french door curtain. Excellent quality fabric and well made. The tie back is a great bonus for summer months. The color is beautiful and goes great with kitchen. I love the neat finish on the material. I used the second hole so I have a little ruffle on both ends at the top and bottom. Very pleased with this product and surely recommend it to customers.
Nice quality
This wasn't my first choice, but after having difficulty hanging other items, it was the most sensible. I ordered black and it is quite thick. You can not see through it and the quality as far as the stitching and the fabric is very good. It is wider than my window but if you gather it evenly in the rod, it works quite well. Not to heavy because I hung it using command strips. Overall, I am very pleased with my choice. I do think it will look much better with a second rod on the bottom. I would recommend this item.
Quality, true to color, lovely material
Wow! I was very surprised with this item. I need several this size but did not want to have to return a bunch if they were not what I really wanted. I am going to order 7 more for my bedroom and sitting room. It is lovely material, very pretty. The sage green is true to color and nice thick fabric. The curtain is somewhat shiny but great for where I plan to use it. It adds a little elegance to the room. I have beautiful old woodwork that I didn't want to cover and these are perfect. Extremely pleased with this purchase! UPDATE: I ordered more of these. They came today. Same color, quality and lovely material. Very pleased.
Hurray for Sun Zero by Licthenberg Brands!
Our new home has a ridiculous amount of windows and doors, and we live at the edge of a sky island in the Southeastern Arizona high desert so we get a LOT of sun. There was a heatwave coming and I needed better curtains than we had, so I snagged this deal as soon as I saw it so I could finally have decent covering on the french doors in our kitchen! They look perfect and kept the room much darker/cooler. My only issues with them are actually related to the rods I bought (separately) to use them with and really have nothing to do with the curtains themselves. As for my review rating... So I was about to give these four stars because they don't even say Sun Zero anywhere on them let alone on the packaging, but that part aside (more on that in a moment) - they were a great price, did exactly what I wanted them to do, looked exactly how I expected them to look, and so on. Hence the five stars. Now, why still the "five star" when they don't say "Sun Zero" but, rather, Lichtenberg, on the packaging? The most helpful negative review here mentions it came like that, and I too was freaked out when I first saw my package being a different name, but it was so hot I decided to put them up and not care. However, there was something nagging me so I had to investigate... What they don't mention in that review is looking up the history of the company and what you find when you look it up. I had a hunch that Lichtenberg might be the parent company of Sun Zero, and I was right! Licthenberg was established in 1933, and Sun Zero is one of their brands. You can find details about it all on their main site. (Note, Lichtenberg lists private label brands such as MainStays - sound familiar?, Better Homes and Gardens, and more.) So, okay, maybe they should be more specific, but also perhaps that was why these were such a great deal? Either way, would definitely order again - and I thought that even before I knew they were from the actual company and thought they were just knock-offs!
Beautiful curtains
The color is very pretty on my patio doors. I like them because you can not see through them at night when lights are on. I just put a rod on the top of the curtains and use the ties just in the day time. The color matches really well with my light gray walls. I like the material that they are made of. This is how I put them when it gets dark. You can see my wall color in the second picture and really matches
WHAT IS THIS?
I ordered Sun Zero Bartlett
Why did it take me so long
Recently moved in new home 2 months ago which took me just as long to realize back door was still and I could use the magnetic rods to hang curtain for privacy. The color matches curtains in my family room so nice flow. Didn't have to try and drill into door. Curtains did have a few pin type holes but you really have to be up on them to see. Was really looking for the privacy and for that they are great. Will use the tie back during the day to allow the sun shine but will remove at night for the privacy. Liked so much ordered chocolate colored one for the basement door. Only wish they sold them in her side window width.
[Rewarded Review] Not dark enough
This is something I bought to cover my west facing back door that has a huge window on it. That being said this product was up against the evening sun at it's most intense, especially here in my Texas home. I will say that it blocks out a lot of sunlight and heat that would normally warm up my living room to uncomfortable temperatures but it's just not as dark as the picture implies. It's not sheer but you can still get light coming through the material. I also had this on top of some blinds that i installed on the window so without them it's possible that the light and heat coming through would be more intense. I would recommend these for interior french doors with windows on them but nothing to keep your rooms protected from the light and heat of a sun facing window.
Sub Zero Kylee Brick curtains and valence
Only reason why I rated these 3 stars is the color not matching picks. It is a much brighter shade of red than the pictures represent. After hanging them up, every time you walk into the room your eyes would immediately draw to the curtains and go, "Wow...red curtains." Just too intense.
