Great
Easy to apply
Laticrete bulletproof
This is very strange to put on - you wet the stone for 15 minutes and be sure not to let dry between coats, then you wipe off with a terry cloth. This seems to be a waste of product considering how much it costs. The difference before and after is so slight, you must remember where you stop/start. This product is easier to put on in cooler temperatures...it dries too fast if it's 80o. We are so hoping this product works, as our new marble floor outside is staining terribly from anything (leaves, etc.) that touches it.
Great product
Have travertine floors that were not properly cared for. Did deep scrub and then applied 2 coats. Floor look amazing, and liquids sit on the surface rather than sinking in, which is great since I have a 3 year old. Easy to apply. Great product.
Best water based natural stone sealer.
I did a lot of research on natural stone sealer products. This ranked consistently as the number one water based sealer. It is not cheap but I have been able to afford it because of my purchases on eBay. It takes time to apply it correctly but it is easy and the odor is mild unlike its petroleum based competitors.
Our counter tops still look like new- even after 10 years
We have used this stuff for years on our counter tops and it has worked great. Our counter tops still look like new. KEY!!! Do it every 6 months (mark it on your calendar) AND follow the directions.
Seals but Hard to tell anything Changed
After 2 applications the stone looks exactly the same. I expected the seal to also bring out some highlights. It did not and i assume it was not supposed to. It is hard to tell at this point if the seal is "sealed" but it certainly absorbed and dried quickly. If you are looking for seal only, then this seems to be a good product. If, like me, you want some highlighting with the seal, then this is not the right product. After the application i looked into another product that seals and highlights but i have been told by 2 experts that once it is sealed it is too late to highlight unless you strip the seal. I have decided to live with it as it is with seal but no enrichment of the color of the stone.
Sealer
We tried several, and as a contractor who installs stone products this is easy to apply and control and seals very well
BulletProof Sealer
This is the stuff most pros use. You just finished a basic or extensive tile job and how to do your best job for your client? You do a proper damp-cure of your grout and then seal with BulletProof sealer. I use a buffer as in automotive 6" with teri cloth bonnet to buff out. This is after I have applied multiple coats using a small tub and foam brush. Let air dry. Run vent exhaust /open windows, etc. Provide adequate ventilation at ALL times. Yes, use tight fitting rubber gloves---check with Lowe's or Homey Dee. Eye protection always wise when handling ANY potentially injurious substance!
