The deck box worked out great. It was packaged well and the parts were labeled as per the instructions. It also assembled fairly quick and I didn’t have any problems, as the instructions were easy to follow and understand. Seems well made and keeps the weather out. Only minor problem was the lid blows open during the windy storms and the contents get soaked. So I added a rust proof latch to prevent that from happening again. Otherwise it does a great job protecting the contents from rodents and weather.

Stop looking and get this box !

perfect.No tools required to assemble... but 4 hands are much better than two :)Take my word for it.Cool box, looks great and it does not leak during the rain. You may want to attach a Bunche-cord on the lid and a hardware to hook it into. The wind could pop it open and then the rain does soak everything.

No tools required to assemble this box. The instructions were a bit wonky but most of the assembly was fairly intuitive. Some of the connections were a bit rough but eventually everything went together. Unobtrusive where I'm using it. Seems tough and durable. Will be curious to see how it fares in another year and through the winter.

I ordered this a couple years ago. I have been very happy with my purchase. We just survived total devastation from a tornado and this deck box was still here, with everything safely tucked inside! It wasn’t in the direct path, but did withstand all the flying debris. A shed and picnic table flew away, right beside it. This was a good purchase for sure!

Easy to assemble and it just holds all the cushions, albeit like a puzzle! Top kind of 'snaps' closed, or not, then I just grab a big plant to put on top for rainy days (this is a result of the cushions not being loaded properly - not the Unit). All in all, definitely recommended. About 2 months old at this point.

This deck box was easy to assemble and at first, I was impressed with its rigidity. However, when I started placing items inside the box (two bags of charcoal, grilling accessories, etc,), the front wall panel separated from the bottom panel creating a gap of up to 1/4" along that interface seam. I had to rearrange the charcoal bags which were leaning against both the front and back walls to eliminate that gap. There really was minimal pressure against the front panel and I was disappointed in the lack of rigidity. Since then, no problems. I'm very happy with this purchase. Well worth the money!!!

Suncast deckbox

I use the deckbox for storage on my patio. It was simple enough to put together for a 60+ year old. No tools required. It matches my patio décor perfectly and make it easy to move solo with the inline wheels. Excellent price as I shopped around on-line for extensively. BJ's best price with free shipping. No disappointment here luv it!

So far we have been unable to put this togheter. In theory its very simple but the parts do not snap together and when u apply strenght the whole panel bends since its made of plastic and it doesnt snap. Two of us have been unable to snap a single panel in place... waiting for replacement item.. really hoping the second one is better.. so far very disappointed for the price.. Ill update once i get the replacement unit....Update: replacement unit worked perfectly! Easy to put togheter, and quite sturdy. It already rained a bunch on it and no water came in at all. Cushions are dry. Would recommend :)

I actually ordered this twice. First time it was damaged and second time the weather (thunderstorm in coastal setting). When I took pictures and sent Wayfair a review, they took the review down and nothing was said or done. I had to throw it out. I understand it was damaged by weather and I didn’t have insurance on it, but it does sit outside and it wasn’t “tornado” weather, only a summer thunderstorm. The only thing I ever bought on Wayfair that I had an issue with.

Piece of Garbage

Absolute garbage. Says comes assembled. Does not. Goes together by snapping in parts. Then it comes to putting on the lid. There is absolutely no way to snap the male ends on the unit into the holes on the lid. The male ends that stick out are too long and you cannot force the lid to attach. There is absolutely no way. We have tried several different methods and it won't attach.

It was hard to put together, but the telephone customer support was very helpful and I got the job done. I was skeptical that no tools would be required, but its design was ingenious and truly, I didn't have to go get any of my tools. It looks a little cheap and without a cushion. The odd size of the depression meant that I had to order a custom cushion that was the same price as the storage bench!! (I wish I had sewing skills...) We'll see if it withstands rodent damage over time... Our last Rubbermaid bench sustained serious squirrel damage and looked awful which is why we bought this as a replacement.

Superior Product! Planning to Buy More.

While we just received and assembled this and haven’t been able to test it’s durability over time and in the elements, we are incredibly happy with it. It is very sturdy and well made. We anticipate being able to use this to keep our outdoor space tidy and organized for years to come. I didn’t realize it at the time of purchase, but the lid can be used as seating, which is a great feature when in a pinch.We will be looking to add a couple more of these in the years to come to replace our less sturdy deck boxes of other brands.

This deck box is the perfect size. It holds several seat cushions and one thick chaise lounge cushion. I especially like that it has wheels on one end and a handle on the other so you can easily relocate it. To me having the wheels and handle is a must! It is sturdy and appears to be water resistant. I ordered a cover for it though I probably will only use that occasionally. I plan on moving it inside during our harsh winters to preserve it for summer seasons to come. It is quite nice looking enough to do that. I wasn't around when it was assembled but was told it was very easy. Instructions included. The price was just about all I wanted to spend so I'm very happy with this box.

What I love: AMERICAN MADE. You can sit on it. It looks nice. It's really water proof! I store toys, furniture cushions, etc in them (yes I bought a second one). I just popped open our newest one (Christmas gift "to" my husband, ha ha ha) after several inches of snow and lake effect wind and the inside was completely dry-- yay! Downside-- like others have said, it didn't come with assembly instructions! However, don't let this stop you. The only thing to remember is that the Left side panel and the Right side panel really do have to, respectively, go on the left and right ;)

I couldn't give it 5 stars because there is no way to latch it closed. Our deck sees strong winds at times and we were concerned it would blow open. So we drilled a couple of small holes on the edge of the lid and added small bungee cords. It doesn't even "snap" shut. But it is very large and holds a lot. It has built in handles that make it easy to move. And it does serve well as a bench but only for children or small adults. There was no weight rating but it handles my 175 pounds with ease. Looks attractive as well.

I love this deck box! I purchased this expressly to house two litterboxes and extra litter and a trash can for my two cats. I have it stored in my screened in porch and it does a wonderful job. I used a multipurpose tool to cut out the lower panels on each side of the unit, then sanded it smooth. This in no way reduced the structural ability of the unit. Things to note. The interior floor is flat and smooth. It was super easy to snap together with no tools needed. It's big, in a good way. Walking by it you would never know there were litter boxes and supplies tucked inside. My cats love it! There is plenty of room for them to go in each side and go to the bathroom in peace. They also enjoy laying on the top which is also very smooth. The top stays open nicely for cleaning, and it'll be easy to pressure wash when it needs it. I am so glad I purchased this Suncast deck box, it's exactly what I needed. I had recently purchased a new patio dining set and I wanted to keep the cushions stored in something when the weather is bad. The dining set has 4 chairs with bottom and back cushions that are really thick. This deck box fits all 8 pieces perfectly inside. I even put a couple thinner cushions on top and they fit in there fine.I may purchase another to hold my swing cushions.The only reason I gave it 4 stars is I believe it would be perfect is if there was some kind of latch that clicks it closed, it would be more secure.I am so happy with my purchase and it looks really well on the deck. I needed a small box to store my Sportsman 3500/4000 watt generator when not in use plus two 5Gal gas cans but i didn't want to spend a fortune.This Suncast 73 Gal Resin Deck Box was about the best quality thing I could find for under $100 that had the inside dimensions I needed for what I wanted to store.Assembly is super easy, zero tools required. You snap the sides into the base, then the front and back and finally the top. The seams are pretty good but if you 100% want it to be weather proof you might want to get some silicon caulking to seal them tightly.I put my Sportsman Generator in there, it's just enough room with enough room to the side for two gas cans and a couple extension cords. One end has wheels as well so you can wheel it around easily by lifting from the handle on the opposite side. Very happy with the box .The only one negative thing I have to say is there is no lock on it. I had to buy a couple D Bolts at home depot and a padlock and modify the box so that it could be secured, or at least secured enough that a random person couldn't just open it and see what's inside. It would take some effort to get it open now.Good box ! Less

Exactly what I wanted!

This outdoor cabinet is bigger and nicer than I anticipated, but this is where the reviews help potential buyers...others raved about how nice it was, and roomy.... looks beautiful- I couldn't be happier!!BJ's had the best price when I searched online too.We spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer..this is on my patio, filled with all outdoor eating necessities ..Paper plates, cups, bowls, napkins, placemats, serving spoons, flatware, anything that might be needed whether you are grilling or serving snacks, or cooking in and dining out. I have never had an outdoor unit that could hold all that's used outside, so this will keep me from constant in and out of the house ...I'm so happy I have this now. My advice? Buy it ! You'll love it!

SO EASY TO ASSEMBLE!!!

I was so worried i would have trouble putting this together myself as my husband works very long hours and it would be the last thing hed want to do when he got home. I watched a YouTube video before it arrived. The directions are clear, simple and easy to understand. They do suggest using a rubber mallet (I didn't need one) the parts slid right into place. The video showed a woman putting it together without the power drill (yay) cuz i dint know how to use one but thankfully did not need it anyway i just used a regular screw driver. There were also no pre drilled holes for the brackets but that didnt matter either as soon as I lightly started turning the screw driver they went right in with ease. Overall it took me less than a half hour to assemble all by myself. It doesnt leak, bugs cant get in and it's huge. I bought it for pool towels and sunblock but there is so much room left over i put all my outdoor dinnerware outside and i stipl have room left. Perfect! Less
