Great for wrapping around you in rain at camp,a light cover when it's hot also to keep you just right warm, and can be folded to make a pillow light, for back packing too. Love it.

Perfect for the Prepper or Traveler

I love the Pillanket! I use it when traveling because I do not EVER get inside a hotel bed. I prop myself up and snooze using a sheet and the Pillanket! It's the perfect weight. I keep it in my car and feel it is an essential part of my car's prep kit.

Nice lightweight blanket/pillow

OmniCore has come up with a very practical idea in their “Pillanket” product. This item serves two purposes: it works as a pillow as well as a blanket. We’ve had it in our home for a few months, and while we haven’t used it on a camping trip yet, we enjoy it very much. It’s the perfect size for snuggling under while on the couch, and our new puppy loves its soft, silky feel.

Great product!

This blanket/pillow has many uses. Yes, it can be a pillow, or you can open it up to use as a blanket. I would also use it as an air mattress cover to lay on top of it. It could also be used as a blanket to lay on at the beach and then as a blanket if it gets too cold. This is the kind of thing you always want to carry in your car because it would come in handy in any situation. Having little ones in the car this would be handy almost every day and in so many ways. It is made from 100% polyester fiber. What I love most about this blanket is that it does not take much space when made into a pillow. I can see our family using this almost all the time. With that said, I recommend this product for everyone.

Underwhelmed

This bag is thin and brightly colored on one side. The "pillow" is very thin and does not support the head. This blanket is more suitable for a small child. I would not trust this for the advertised, rugged, below freezing outdoor use. This is a light duty cover, at best. Think throw for the couch in the kids' playroom.

This pillow is more, it's a pillow, a blanket, and a coat. It starts as a pillow then turns into a blanket. The blanket has buttons and pockets, this is the coat version.

GOOD FOR EMERGENCY CAR KIT

THIS IS AN OK ITEM TO PUT IN A VEHICLE FOR EMERGENCIES. IT WRAPS UP IN ITS ON LITTLE COVER TO KEEP IT CLEAN. IF YOU NEED A PILLOW AND NOT A BLANKET YOU CAN USE IT FOR THAT AS WELL. YOU CAN NOT HAVE THE PILLOW AND BLANKET TO USE AT THE SAME TIME. IF YOU HAVE KIDS THAT CAN TEND TO FALL ASLEEP IN THE CAR THEN YOU HAVE A BLANKET TO COVER THEM FOR THE TRIP OR IF THEY ARE JUST COLD. IT FOLD NEATLY AND CAN BE PACKED AWAY WITHOUT MUCH SPACE AND CAN BE PUT UNDER A SEAT. DOES NOT NEED MUCH ROOM. IT LOOKS LIKE IT COULD BE WASHED AND DRIED EASILY. IT SAYS TO WASH ON GENTLE CYCLE IN COLD WATER.HANG TO DRY. DO NOT DRY CLEAN AND DO NOT USE BLEACH. THE SHELL, LINING AND FILLING ARE MADE OF 100% POLYESTER. THE FINISHED SIZE IS 50 INCHES BY 70 INCHES. I WOULD SAY IT IS MADE MORE FOR A CHILD THAN FOR AN ADULT BUT AN ADULT COULD WRAP IT AROUND THEIR SHOULDERS AND IT WOULD HELP KEEP THEM WARM.IT IS ONE OF THOSE THINGS THAT IS BETTER TO HAVE IN AN EMERGENCY THAN NOT. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU MIGHT NEED IT. GOOD LUCK AND STAY WARM.

Great blanket

I love the whole concept of this product but it’s impossible to use the blanket and pillow at the same time. I really like the blanket. It’s soft and keeps you warm. As far as the pillow. I like my pillow a little softer and much bigger. Overall it’s a great idea. Would make a great gift for family or friends who enjoy camping.

Great idea and great quality!

We loved this blanket! It comes folded up as a rectangular pillow and you unfold it and open it up and becomes a blanket. We think this is a great item to throw in the car trunk and can have multiple uses, a pillow, a blanked and, when needed, something to wrap yourself up. It's super light and we loved that it's designed here in San Francisco, too! So many great uses: Camping, in the car and even on an airplane! Very happy with the quality, too.

This is pretty cool!

I like this, when I first took it out of the pillow 'case' and seen that it could be used as a robe it was so cool! There are two hand pockets and the warmth it provides me makes my current robe pale in comparison. I compare it to my current robe and there is a noticeable difference in the chill I don't feel. I can do things with it on, there is a hook that makes it into a robe. That is why I don't wear robes they are a hindrance when I try to do anything and I have to take it off, this resolves that issue, it can stay on, it is comfy, washable and easy to put on and take off.This almost takes the place of my blankie, but this will work outdoors as well as indoors so I will be able to take this with me anywhere, it folds into a pouch and makes a pillow, very compact. This would be ideal to take as a carry on, I would have a pillow and a blanket that will easily fit into a bag or carried on with no extra bulk, this is an all occasion year round comfort item that will become something I will have to keep with me wherever I am for peace of mind and for the warmth and comfort it gives, more than one will be a necessity. Less

Warm

When I received this pillow blanket I immediately popped it open. I didn’t think anything about putting it back together into a pillow. The blanket is warm in the color of grey and red. The only issue is that I can’t get it back into a pillow. I’ve tried several times and can’t get it back together.

I Started Using the Pillanket Right Away!

I received a shipment of an Omnicore Designs Pillanket: Pill(ow) + (b)lanket – Packable Camping Pillow. It's both as described and interesting. It is a textured charcoal colored polyester on one side, easy to grab, not slippery. The reverse side is an easy to see, smooth, red polyester. The tag also describes it as a “Wearable Pillow Throw”. The Pillanket is not bulky and the synthetic down filling is warm but lightweight. The Omni-Core tag included with their blanket explains their name: “Omni” - in all-ways, places without limits and “core” – basic, essential or enjoying. It also says, “We believe great product design can come from anywhere as long as it's designed for everyone”. A lot of thought went into its design. The pillow is made by folding up the blanket and tucking it into the sham like casing - it makes a very soft pillow. The casing can be tucked into a pocket in the bottom edge which zips closed. The blanket is 50 inches by 70 inches - a good throw size. You can form a hood to go over your head as well as keeping the blanket on your shoulders by using the plastic toggle and circle in the top edge. It can keep the wind off as you walk around a campsite or warm you as you sit in a tent or at home. It even has pockets in the top corners to put your hands in to keep them warm and tuck the blanket around you. I like it and already use it over my shoulders at night to avoid drafts or cover my legs with it.

This is great for camping and outdoor 'sitting around the fire' when it starts to get a little chilly as the sun starts to go down. It has a toggle and loop to fit around the neck and it has pockets to stick your hands in the corners. These corner pockets can be used for a hood for those with smaller heads too. When it's time for sleep or storage it can be easily rolled up and turned into a travel size pillow! What a concept! I really like this thing. I wish I had it years ago.

great down blanket

I received the OmniCore Pillanket down blanket. This item is like a pillow and blanket all in one. when the item arrived it was folded up like a pillow and the blanket part of it, slides into the top part and then makes a pillow. The pillow is basically the blanket folded up into the attached bag. I like that this product is down and packable for camping. I will probably use it more as a blanket than pillow. But I can see us using this in our camper lounging around. I like that the fabric is the slick kind that can easily brush off. I opened it up and it is navy on one side and red on the other. It is a very nice and soft blanket that I actually think keeps you pretty warm with the down inside it!! Packing it back into the pouch to make a pillow does take some figuring out at first. I like to fold the ends to the middle and that makes it easier for me to get in there. If you cant get it exact you can always stuff it in there and that makes it even more pillow like. I think I will use as a blanket most but nice to have its own carrying case so it doesn’t get dirty and easy to store.

Doesn't quite live up to the hype

I get cold easily - so I love this travel blanket with pillow! It blocks the cold air well enough over warm clothing. The outer and fill materials are great. Easy to fold and pack, too. The pillow is a great added plus, but I don't think it really needs to be attached.

WONDERFUL!

What a great product! I should confess that right now I can't go camping anymore although this item would be great to take on a trip. It would also be great to take to a football, baseball game, track meet or outdoor activities. Using it as the pillow is marvelous! It is sooo soft and in fact I use it in bed to prop my head up in bed to watch TV. It works so much better than my neck pillow but my husband really likes it too and has, in fact, confiscated it from me. This also opens up to a blanket or a cover up to keep one dry or warm. It's really a good size to throw over your shoulders, or to cover your legs/body in milder weather as it is a lightweight, down alternative material to help keep you warm. Overall, this is a nifty little item and did I say I loved it as a pillow, because I do and will continue to use it as such.
