A great tool

It only took me about 30 minutes to assemble - from opening the box to adding the glass top. Easy and straightforward to put together. I was able to put it to use immediately for various art projects. I love that it has casters and I can wheel it from room-to-room depending on the project I'm working on. Plus I can sit right at it to work. Great height.

Great addition to the little patch of studio in my home!

Assembly instructions were accurate and assembly was relatively quick. Screw 'depth' where the allen wrench is inserted seemed a bit 'shallow' as the wrench kept popping out under pressure. Would like to have more space between bottom and next-up shelf for taller bottles, brush cleaning bucket, etc.

A useful studio addition

This taboret does exactly what I need it to do. It holds all the miscellaneous stuff that cluttered my painting surface. Now I have elbow room. It has wheels so that I can roll it away when I need to and it is metal, which should hold up for a long time. My only complaint is that it was challenging to assemble. Otherwise, I recommend it.

Pretty good little taboret

Pretty good taboret. The glass top is a great idea for use as a palette. The glass isn't clear, it's blue so not ideal for mixing colors. But I can replace that with clear glass if the blue color is a problem. I thought the middle shelves might be too flimsy but once I put it together, they were pretty stable. The only bad thing was the tools to assemble were pretty cheap. I ended up using my own tools because they were much easier to use. Casters seem pretty decent too. A little on the small side overall. I'd love it if it were about half again the size. But, it's not bad.

This product met my needs

I have the taboret next to my easel and it perfectly holds my materials. I like the way it looks, it was easy to put together and exactly what I was looking for. I only wish out was a little taller, but I would bought it anyway. These are hard to find.

Reviewing this item as an artist’s companion table for an easel, I will first appreciate the attempt to provide a mobile unit/storage cart. The glass top is a nice touch for those who (like me) have preferred using a glass palette for oil painting. However: the suit is too small overall, too short (the glass top is too low to use as a palette when the artist is standing), has inflexible shelf spacing (not room for a quart of thinner, e.g.). Something more like the traditional French TABORET is what is needed — perhaps two drawers, one open shelf, and about 6 to 12 inches taller. The unit is easy to assemble, with quality finish and parts.

Product in picture is smaller than it appears!

Be sure to read the dimensions on this product. I ordered this thinking it would be larger than it is. If you need a tiny cart with wheels, then this is it. If you're thinking this would be something you can push around while walking upright - and you're more than 3 foot tall - then keep looking.

Great beside my drawing board or easel! No drawers!

Been in Arts 60 years, this taboret is great, no drawers and everything is just easy peasy in reach fast.

Just what I needed!

It was not difficult to assemble. My current studio space has a drop cloth over carpet, and the tabouret rolls effortlessly. I can FINALLY see my colors from a convenient angle and no longer have to use wax paper draped over my wooden palette.

I would recommend this taboret

As a result of this purchase I was able to clear my design table of clutter. I can now work on huge pieces. It was a great buy.

It works great for my wet pallet on top, 2 of the shelves have a lip to keep stuff from sliding off, and a place to hang towels. I put it together easily - it came with the only tool you need. It is sturdy & rolls around easily. It matches and goes great with my adjustable desk of the same brand. Very happy with it!

Useful

I did not realize how small it is, but I will use it for painting. The shelves underneath are small. The glass top makes for a good palate. I think it's a good design but I wish it were 1/2 again as big.

Easy to assemble and highly functional!

This was much needed in my studio! It's super easy to assemble, minimalist sleek and compact. It's nice to have another small palette to roll along with me in the studio, other than my large stationary palette. Over all a good buy for the price point.

Good small art stand

I had a small space to use for painting and this fits the purpose well. Took 20 minutes to assemble with one person, sturdy, looks nice. It's short enough to slide under a desk when not in use, but at a good height to use when sitting (a bit short if you mostly stand to paint). The glass top is a good size to hold my palette box (or could use it as the palate). By staggering the shelf depth, accessibility is improved - the turpenoid can sit on the front of a long shelf and be easily reached.
