I picked this high quality hand stitched unique 6x9 rug for my customer's home office and couldn't be happier. I am an interior decorator and home stager and because we created a more masculine atmosphere for its home office, this cowhide chevron rug is the perfect choice! Love it, elegant yet chic and stylish.

Looks Stylish, Good for Low Traffic Areas

Rug looks great in our kitchen dining area, however, the rug does not hold up in the higher traffic room. We are going on year two with the rug and it looks nice from far away, however, the grommet accents in between the squares are starting to fall off as they are only glued on (not real grommet hooks).

I absolutely love this rug!! I get so many compliments on it. Great price, more beautiful than expected! Would definitely recommend this rug! I've purchased in two different colors.

A nice piece

Beautiful. Quality is fantastic. The patchwork rectangles are smaller than I expected from photos. In one of the photos they appear to be larger squares. I assumed that an 8 x 10 would have larger pieces... but it still is beautiful ( a little busier).

I received this 3x5 grey rug and immediately ordered the runner to match because it is absolutely gorgeous. Only one complaint is that the runner has bright silver studs and the 3x5 has muted gold (which is the preferred color I wanted). I can make it work but I'm really disappointed that the studs# wouldn't match on all of the sizes. I love the rug so much that I ordered 2 more of the 3x5 and 1 of the 4x6. I'm praying they all come in with the muted gold studs. But overall these are a very good price for the quality. But must have rug huggers to keep them from slipping around. They would have gotten a 5 plus if the studs were the same color. Very pleased with the uniqueness of theses rugs! Fits my eclectic style!!

Wow! This is a stunner.

As a shopper who does lots of on line shopping, admittedly I am not always satisfied with my purchases. That is NOT the case with this product. The quality is top of the line, with a price point that doesn't break the bank. The picture doesn't do this justice. Colors & material are absolutely gorgeous. I am considering purchasing a larger version for another room. That's how much I love this!

Awesome Cowhide Patterns

This was exactly as pictured! I loved it so much, I ordered a second! I did not detect an order upon opening; the rug pretty much laid flat once unwrapped. If you have this rug in your cart, go ahead and purchase, it will not disappoint!

Beautiful but Not For Me

I absolutely adored this rug; however, I couldn’t make it fit with my ivory furniture. Well made and I felt the studs were a nice touch. The rug is beautiful but because the colors would not merge with my furniture, I had to return it.

Even better in person than in pictures! Ordered the gray version and could not be happier. Looks like a very expensive rug I got at a fraction of the price! Nice shades of gray mixed with cream and dark brown. Love the nailhead accent!

This rug is gorgeous!! It’s an eye-catcher and statement piece in my living room. The details are nicely done and cow hide looks beautiful. I was worried about the studs pulling off when vacuumed as suggested by other reviews, but with my Romba, they’ve remained intact and still look good.

Love this rug!

Absolutely perfect! Bought this to layer with a full hide. Colors true to pictures in detail shots and worked beautifully. The nail heads are not flashy and add a nice detail to my layered style. Every time I purchase a Safavieh rug I'm always impressed that it looks even better in person and I've purchased a dozen or more over the last few years. Great value too!

Very unique rug

This rug was a perfect addition to our dining room. Our dining room chairs have nailhead stud trimmings so the fact that the seams on this rug are covered in railheads as well was a perfect tie in. We have concrete floors so I was looking for something that was soft and textured but not fluffy and the cowhide in this rug was perfect. The gray coloring is a mixture of shades to provide some contrast. I do recommend a rug pad as well as carpet tape as the rug is thin and can start to pucker or be misshapen if you don't tack it down.

Outstanding piece. Looks almost like a work of art, rather than a rug. Gets noticed and always starts a conversation. My peeve is the rivets which are aluminium disks glued to top of cow hide (yes, essentially glued to hair). Whoever though this was a good idea. Forget vacuuming this rug. You will suck these rivets right up. Aside from the rivets issue, outstanding piece. Still gets high marks from me

This runner is gorgeous! I have received so many compliments from my friends. I bought it to go with the Black/Ivory Leather/Felt Hand-stitched Chevron Cow Hide Rug I have in my Living Room. The two look amazing together. I really love the grommets in the rug. I didn't even notice them in the picture when I bought it. Very contemporary and nicely made/stitched. You definitely need a pad underneath or the rug will not stay in place. Don't purchase rug grippers for the corners. They do not adhere and stay in place. Buy the rug pad.

Not holding up as well as I expected

I fell in love with this rug when I found it. It's a nice, soft rug for bare feet and we've had many compliments on it. We bought it for the living room of our motorhome. It fit beautifully in front of our sofa. It took a few months after arriving to finally lay flat after being rolled for shipping. And I noticed recently that a couple of squares are getting bare of hair. We've had it for about 9 months. We always have bare feet in the motorhome. I think it may be from regular vacuuming, but why some squares are affected and not others I don't know. Because of the pattern, it's really not noticeable to anyone but me. But for the price, I would not expect this to happen. I still love the rug, but recommend that you lift and shake it regularly and only vacuum occasionally (not frequently as directed on the back of the rug!). I just purchased a couple of Sherry Kline throw pillows here on Overstock that go beautifully with the rug.
