Furinno Basic 3x2 Bookcase

Purchased 1 before. Fits well in my small doorway area to hold dog leash, dog coats, some boots and shoes.

[Rewarded Review] Just what I needed

I needed something to organize my office closet. Perfect. It fits under the bottom rack with extra shelf space on the top. To assemble, make sure your parts are correct, then use glue on the dowels. Easy-peasy and very solid.

[Rewarded Review] not worth the money

I was excited to get this and looked forward to setting it up. I was REALLY disappointed. In order to put it together you use pegs. That would have been fine if the pegs fit. Not one if them fit. They were too narrow and to short to do the job. Even glue would not have helped. Soni went to the hardware store and bought pegs that fit "better". The only thing is I had to cut some of them down because they were a little long. Next you screw the whole thing together. Ok, but the holes that they pre drilled did not line up. Finally you nail the back panel piece to the back of the unit. Again, great except it was not wide enough to securely nail it on. So you either have to forget about nailing either the top or the bottom securely. Oh yes, and two of the holes for the pegs didn't line up correctly so that was another problem.

Not same presentation . Very small. Came defective. Shouldn’t sell.

It’s fine. Serves the purpose. Most furniture nowadays is made so cheap unless you pay $$$$

Poor Quality Materials

The bookcase is visually appealing, but the materials were of very poor quality, so I guess I got what I paid for. The flimsy, connecting little rods started to crack before I was done assembling the small bookcase. The pressed wood was also very porous. Also, a part was missing )-: I won't purchase again, sorry. But again, I guess I got what I paid for.

My Black Friday

It arrived early. This fits perfectly where I visualized it to be in my bedroom. The directions were well written out. I LOVE II🎁

Meh

Its small. The baskets are a nice addition. The finished edge of the bottom shelf had to be glued down which was a bit annoying BUT overall its good value for the money.

Very nice! Easy to build

I ordered two of these and have them together, one in front of the other, as a tv stand with storage. I built the first one as the directions said, attaching the backing. I built the other without putting the back on. Now I have hidden storage in the back one, the bins don’t even show. And I can put decor in front. It was a quick and easy build as well.

Shelf Storage

I originally planned to use this for a television, but it says it cannot hold that much weight. It takes a little time to put together, and one of the center pieces was damaged. So I am waiting on a replacement from the company. It is cute though, and I will use it for books or storage for shoes.

Ok, but…

It arrived in great packaging. It looked great at first glance, but as I began to put it together, I noticed 2 of the corners were slightly damaged. The “covering” was peeling up. It was a little disappointing, but since it was just going into our workout room in the basement, I felt it wouldn’t be too noticeable and the hassle of having to return it was more than I wanted to put into the situation.

Does the job and looks pretty decent.

The bins included with this item were not in the box. Emailed company to rectify this issue. If they provide the bins, I will change to 5 stars; if not, another review and reduction in stars will be provided.

Error but ok.

Wasn’t like the bigger one I purchased two of but ok. It doesn’t sit flat on the floor . It has a little space between floor and bottom of bins. I do like having the bin’s. Still gauging it’s quality.

Easy to put together, you get what you pay for.

Very easy to put together, almost too easy. It does not come with the tools you need, a screwdriver. You get what you pay for as far as quality, particle board, and stick on laminate.. I bought these to organize a closet with doors that will be closed 90% of the time, so as long as they hold together, they are perfect. I can see them falling apart if they get pushed around too much, and part of the grey laminate peeled up when I took one of the identifying stickers off, but it's on a shelf that will have things on, so no big deal. They are exactly what I needed to organize a catch-all closet that I wanted to open the doors to and smile, not feel overwhelmed. I am happy with my purchase.

Poorly made way too cheap

This was a terrible piece. Although it arrived quickly, it was a mess. Pieces didn’t fit together well, holes for dowels were too deep, holes for screws were no existent or did not line up. Baskets were cheap and flimsy and were not the standard size. Scrapped it and bought a different one.

Missing a peg...

In theory, this seems rather easy to assemble. The instructions even lead you to believe so by saying “Approx. 00:30 minutes”...

It's CHEAP- not worth $60. Buy another brand!!

CONS: Super cheap. Many of the boards shipped damaged. NOT worth $60.

Looks great, not very sturdy, warped in transit

I got 2 of these shelves. One of them is awesome, and looks fantastic. The other looks good, but one piece was slightly warped (the particle board had separated slightly, probably in transit). It wasnt very visible, so I ignored it, but after being assembled, the warped piece (the top of the unit) pulled against the screws in a way that weakened it. I placed a laptop and a couple of books on top, and the piece broke. I've propped it up, and intend to see if I can make repairs, but the particle board is not very sturdy. Be careful placing anything heavier than small books on this shelf. Easy to assemble, once you get the hang of it.

I love this!! I purchased this for my office to hold my hair and skin product inventory and Photo decor. There is so much more room in the bins than what I imagined. I love this bookcase. I am going to order another one really soon. The color was really pretty. It was as pictured and described. Not a bad price for the qualtiy. I would recommend this book case 100%.

Extremely cheaply made!!

I have ordered storage bookcase shelves in the past. This one, by far, was the cheapest quality ever! The storage boxes were made from thin cardboard and very thin fabric. I wouldn’t even call it fabric. The storage bins are leaving for typical size, much smaller. I normally don’t leave reviews but I felt I had to because this item was so cheaply made. The corners came chipped up and the particleboard was falling apart already. I definitely will never purchase this one in the future.
