[Rewarded Review] Beautiful appearance

Looks awesom, easy installation. Fits as designed.

Nice look, poor function

The sink looks great, but there are major design flaws. The sink has minimal slope and doesn’t drain properly…you literally have to use your hand or a sponge to sweep any food debris to the center drain. The material also expands/contracts based on heat and makes loud “popping” noises whenever draining something like pasta. The sink also did not come with the bottom grid as advertised, but Lowe’s said we were out of luck since we didn’t realize that until after the sink was installed. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend…but at least it looks nice, right?

Disappointed

It’s nice but not a good pinch for draining really wish the sink drained water properly. Such an expensive sink so that you have to run the water down the drain with your hand or water pressure from the faucet.

DO NOT BUY THIS SINK!

This is a classic case of form over function. This is the worst sink we have ever had, through 7 kitchens as we have moved over the years.

Not Sure

I dunno; It's still in the box, lol. If youre having it installed by a contractor, ask prior to purchasing, so the pro can tell you whether it's doable or not. I had to return the bar sink because it was too big.

No Sink Grid

Does not come with the sink grid as advertised. No resolution from Lowes or American Standard.

Huge sink almost fills up a 36 in cabinet base

Huge sink very durable good quality nice apron it’s needs strong support legs to hold it up and the cabinet doors has to be lowered to fit

Does not drain well

Sink would be 5 stars however there is a huge design flaw. There is no slope for the water to drain so you need to squeeze out any excess water

Before You buy, get a contractor

Overall nice, this is not a novice do it yourself-er project. If I could have found a contractor willing to install it, I would have, and yes you should too. this is a remodel. Probably easier in new construction

Beautiful sink

This sink is beautiful. I wasn't planning to keep the stainless steel bottom grid in until I scratched the sink with a pan. I only remove it to clean the sink now. Advice to perfect it: create more of a slope towards the center to move food debris along easier. I have to remove the rack and use my hands to do that.

average sink

I just moved and am updating my kitchen. I bought the 33 inch AS SS sink and out of the box the bottom of the sink was scratched. I miss my Vigo sink that I installed at my previous home. That one came wrapped and was much heavier duty. Everything about it was heavier duty including the grate. 16 gauge makes a very big difference compared to this 18 gauge and the AS does not come with the rubber lining around the bottom. I just hope it holds up.

DO NOT BUY THIS SINK

JUNK doesn't have any pitch for draining, Started to rust after months of ownership stained steel is to thin it expands and contracts after pouring hot water into

Great upgrade to new kitchen!

Easy to install and very spacious. Wife loves it! Was much better option to the porcelain farmhouse which weighed 200 lbs.

Worse experience

I bought this sink last week and waitied for the guy to install countertop and pluming within one use this sink got scratched. My old 10 year old sink still shone and never scratched I was in rush so instead of ordering I grabbed from Lowe’s. If you can stay away please do so. I got installed in the afternoon today and uses at night. I never write review but I spent so much getting my kitchen remodeled and this sink is sore in a eye.

love this sink!

I installed this sink during my complete kitchen remodel. Very durable. I love the draining grate for drying large pots and pans. I only wish the bottom if the sink had more “pitch” toward the drain. You have to chase the bits of food around with the water to go towards the drain.

Very shallow pitch

SInk would be OK if not for the shallow pitch. Its a nightmare to get debris to flow into the drain trap.

lots of work

IT scratches: customer service said, use steel wool on it. Doesn’t drain so to clean you must wipe and squigee. The wire grill i must remove daily. Disapointed!

Not worth it!

This sink doesn't come with a template to cut out your cabinet, you're just supposed to measure and hope for the best. Don't think so, found one cheaper, same warranty and it came with a template.
