Better than expected

For me this was a budget buy, but now that I have received it, I realize this is an high quality desk. The online photos don’t do it any justice. It is bigger than expected with an awesome texture finish. The keyboard area fits my 49 key midi with plenty of room to go bigger if needed. The top shelf fits a 32 in tv with just enough room for my speakers. Assembly was fast and easy, only taken like 30 minutes to an hour for setup. The assembly instructions came with seven photos that were not difficult to comprehend. The only extra tool needed was a screwdriver, but packing came with screws and allen ranch. I would definitely recommend this to others with no questions asked.

Arrived broken

Looks like would be a decent desk. Unfortunately mine was shipped with a broken leg. The weld points were snapped, not sure if it's a fault of the manufacturer or the shipping. For this price point I guess you can't expect super durable quality but the joints where the metal pieces meet look very weak.

Perfect for my teen musician

My 16 year old son put this together himself and uses it to put his electric piano and computer on. It is robust and practical for computer or music needs.

Real review. This is decent product.

The box had some holes in it when it came and the styrofoam inside was crumbling and made for a mess. All parts and hardware was intact after pulling everything out. It assembled fairly quick and easy to follow instructions. Very sturdy so far. I use a drum machine a beat on the pads frequently. The desktop was level and didn't bounce noticeably. The upper shelf I believe was supposed to be 10" it is actually only 8" depth. The 10" would provide more stability for items on the that shelf like small studio monitors etc. I am going to fix mine to the shelf so they don't fall if I move the workstation. The keyboard drawer is spacious enough and stable. I do wish it had a way to lock in place when I have it pulled out. Overall for a beginning setup or a smaller music setup the product is decent. Oh it has rack mounts with mounting hardware too. Big plus.

Nice small studio desk

Worked out perfect for what I needed. Is actually quite sturdy - looked like it might not be. Worked great for my 61-key keyboard. Anything larger probably won't fit. The top shelf may be a little narrow for larger monitor bases (mine are 27") or speakers (mine are 5" Mackies). Top surfaces are kinda slick, so may need to put some rubber pads on speakers and anything you don't want to move around.

I have no idea why people complain. The wood is not thin. It is 3/4. Yes it is not real wood,if it were you would pay a lot more. The wrap looks awesome and should protect it well. I see no wobble issues either.

Perfect desk for music producer!

This is the perfect desk for a music producer with limited space! I bought this for my boyfriend and it fits perfectly in our NYC apartment. I was worried it might be flimsy or not BE well made, but not once has it moved on its own or shown any signs of being unsupportive for his large speakers, keyboards, monitors, recording gear, etc. I looked at many others and this was the best for the price and look!

The best desk! Great for your money

This product was great! I truly appreciate how it’s built and the carbon fiber material and how it looks. It was truly the piece I was missing in my professional recording studio. I gave this 4 stars though just because they did not give me the wheels and the cup holder as advertised. But everything else came and is fine. I definitely would recommend this desk. This is desk is truly great for your money.

Great Value in a compact home studio desk.

The only issue I see is Id like the keyboard drawer a bit wider. Intelligently payed out and just the right size for a small studio.

Desk is great. Delivery time was too long.

Perfect for my situation. It doesn't take up a lot of space and it has enough rack space for the amount of gear I have. The upper shelf has enough room for a small to medium size LED monitor and a pair of studio reference monitors, plus maybe a pair of small computer speakers. The slide out shelf is big enough for a computer keyboard and a mouse, or a MIDI keyboard. My only problem with it is the amount of time it took for delivery. Two weeks is too long in this day and age. I almost cancelled the order. I suggest Walmart steps up their delivery services if they want to compete with other mail order services like Amazon and Sweetwater.

To wobbly

Desk looks nice but the materials used are too thin and not enough support beams makes this desk incredibly wobbly when loaded with gear. It was not designed very well. The thin steel flexes in a side to side motion and top monitor shelf flexes in a front to back motion. The surfaces have a lot of bounce and flex to them as well.

Waste of time

I tried ordering this desk 2 times and they always got canceled with no explanation of why. Just annoying. Wasted weeks.

Versatile student/music desk

Originally ordered this desk through Overstock and it arrived missing parts that they weren't able to replace. Ordered the desk again through Walmart and it arrived with all of its hardware and parts, and it fits my needs exactly. It was easy to assemble and has some wonderful features and plenty of room for materials.
