Looking for fabric for a new dodger. I stumbled across your video comparing Sunbrella and Sattler and decided to try it. Much less expensive and your video was spot on. It seems equally tough with the same feel and minimal stretch. Plan on using it for future projects.

Bimini Project

I ordered this material to use as the shade cover on new sail view windows I placed in my existing bimini. This was my first time using Sattler product and I was very happy. The color is vibrant (although I clearly missed on my guess for color matching the exiting bimini), it sews very well and seems every bit as high quality as similar products. I have yet to place the product in action so I can not comment on longevity at this point.

Great Solution-dyed marine fabric

Sailrite expedited our marine sewing and fabrication company some Sattler Storm Grey fabric and this material is 100% top quality. Great alternative to Sunbrella with almost the same characteristics !

Worth the savings

I just finished a dodger with Sunbrella, and then used this Sattler for bags for folding bikes. I really couldn’t tell the difference. Will see over time, but it seems well worth the savings.

Great place to order!

Always great shopping experience! I am able to order cloth and thread for my personal boat projects. These include sail covers, grill covers, overboard life rafts, hatch covers, line bags and awnings. Captain Joyce

Love the color, but was very hard to work with because of the weight. I'm not a commercial seamstress, so it was harder for me. The price was great, should have pay a little more attention, so it was my fault.

Obviously this is based on the product at the time of purchase. Time will ultimately be the determining factor in regard to the fabrics ability to deal with the sun. The color is consistent and no obvious defects in the fabric itself. We are hoping for a good result based on the price difference with other proven UV resilient products. If so it’s an extraordinary value.

Way stiffer than equivalent Sunbrella. Cost differential is fine for the project at hand but I wouldn’t use it for ‘canvas’ work on my boat.

Great 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric

Great 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric that OVISCO has used for 13 pontoons and boats recently. Reminder..... cut with a hot knife to prevent fraying along edges. Continue to purchase from Sailrite because of their great service.

I am using this fabric because I know it will last for years. I have used this fabric for other projects that have stood the test of time and the elements. Just clean it as directed and you will not be disappointed.

Very hard to work with

I bought this to recover my out door cushions. I was hopeful as Sunbrella is a great product and I've used it before. Unfortunately its very dense and difficult to work with. It's more of a canvas material so it shows creases. I think it would be better suited for a canopy.

NICE fabric and was easy to sew on, except when I had to sew the 'ferrule' cover onto the center area - my machine is not a 'long arm' machine, but I managed to get it done.
