An excellent fabric for a boat cover, very dense, and water-resistant. Highly recommended!

Excellent material and value. With today's increasing costs, saving money HAS to happen and this material is much better for many of my customers' wallets.
[Rewarded Review] Sunbrella Black Fabric
Love this sunbrella fabric. Doesn’t fade, waterproof and great for cushions on my deck!!
Great seller. Love the Sunbrella fabric which I'm using to sew curtains for my outdoor gazebo. Thank you.
Great place to order!
Always great shopping experience! I am able to order cloth and thread for my personal boat projects. These include sail covers, grill covers, overboard life rafts, hatch covers, line bags and awnings. Captain Joyce
Reorder of previous item arrived promptly. The Sailrite folks are terrific.
I reordered this after a previous order. It arrived promptly and looks perfect.
Sunbrella awning
~40% sale, good color match to old patio awning future replacement.
Great 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric
Great 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric that OVISCO has used for 13 pontoons and boats recently. Reminder..... cut with a hot knife to prevent fraying along edges. Continue to purchase from Sailrite because of their great service.
Guaranteed success!
I am using this fabric because I know it will last for years. I have used this fabric for other projects that have stood the test of time and the elements. Just clean it as directed and you will not be disappointed.
Very hard to work with
I bought this to recover my out door cushions. I was hopeful as Sunbrella is a great product and I've used it before. Unfortunately its very dense and difficult to work with. It's more of a canvas material so it shows creases. I think it would be better suited for a canopy.
NICE fabric and was easy to sew on, except when I had to sew the 'ferrule' cover onto the center area - my machine is not a 'long arm' machine, but I managed to get it done.
[Rewarded Review] Thick, hard to work with
Bought to recover some stools, but fabric is so thick and hard to work with, I could barely fold around the corners. I should have taken the description more literally, this would be good for an awning maybe, but not furniture.
Love the Sky Blue color
Purchased this fabric for a mainsail lazy bag. Good information on website and quick turn around on shipment. Will take a few months before I can really rate the fabric itself.
I bought marine grade fabric
I bought marine grade fabric because the barbeque cover I made is exposed to extreme heat, as well as cold temperatures near freezing and monsoon rains. From the research I did, Sunbrella marine grade would be the most durable, UV resistant, fade resistant, nearly waterproof and long lasting. It was stiffer than I thought it would be, so maneuvering large pieces on my home sewing machine (Bernina Aurora 440) was challenging, but with patience it came out great!
The application symbols on fabrics
The application symbols on fabrics indicated that only certain types are rated for awnings (heavier cloth, i.e. 9 oz. per yard versus 7 oz). This cloth is definitely heavier than the awning fabric that I am replacing and looks to be much better quality. Just be aware that "awning-rated" material will not have patterns, stripes, or other designs in it - I found only solid colors.
This is beautiful fabric. I only purchased one yard, but it was shipped on a roll so there were no fold lines to be ironed out. It was raining the day it was delivered, but the fabric was in a plastic bag inside the box, and was not affected by the wet cardboard. It was easy to sew on my home machine, and my new awnings look great!
Sunbrella fabric and SailRite DIY kits.
I have purchased , now 4 or 5 of these wonderful DIY kits. I have never sewed on a bloody button before in my 68 years. The sunbrella material is really dandy! the kits as well and they are quite well planned out so as to make
Sunbrella is still the best
There's a reason Sunbrella has set the standard in marine canvas for decades. Holds up well to the high UV in my home waters of the Florida Keys. I go with black because I find it has better color retention than some other colors and doesn't show dirt. I have a 20 year old black Sunbrella sail cover on one of my boats right now. Had to replace hardware and stitching over the years, but the canvas still looks great.
sunbrella Marine Grade I tortured before sewing it. heat, water, refrig
I ordered the Small fore deck jib bag kit.
Excellent product, competitive price, carefully shipped.
I previous purchased five samples so I could judge color and how difficult it was to sew and cut. This was my favorite color. I am using this fabric for the cushions on my 1990 Catalina 30. I ordered 22yds (60inch width) for my 17 cushions and a few other side projects. I like the fact it arrived spooled on a cardboard tube. It was packaged extremely well. Be careful not to cut the material when unwrapping. Learning to sew with Subrella, or any dense fabric, is a bit of a learning curve but made easier with the right machine. Make sure you have a hotknife to cut the material. Sailrite had one of the best prices I could find after taking into account a 10% discount coupon.
