[Rewarded Review] Not the best instructions but quality seems good

Quality seems like it’s there. A few minor issues with the 3 roof gable supports having pretty significant gaps (1/4-1/2inch). Tried reaching Sun joy customer service about it but didn’t hear a response back. Assuming wood warped a bit. We haven’t put the roof panels on yet. It’s taken some time for my husband to put this together by himself with my occasional help. The instructions are only pictures so a few steps were tricky.

[Rewarded Review] Shipped wrong product!

Ordered this Gazebo on July 3rd. They provided tracking number in which I followed for 12 days. Finally received it on July 15th. I have a major event coming up, so I hired a professional contractor to install it for me do to time restraints. When opened the carton only to find the wrong item. They sent a 10 X 10 steel gazebo, much smaller than I ordered. I had to provide pictures of the box with model number etc. So that now has to be picked up and returned via tractor trailer. They said they are sending the correct item. So, I received a new tracking number with an expected delivery of July 30th. I am a bit concerned at the moment because on the tracking it lists the weight of the item at 683lbs, that's the exact same weight of the wrong item which I received. that's a bit weird but I hope it's the correct item. Now I have to reschedule the contractor and hopefully have it up in time of my event. So, in short, my experience with Walmart.com has not been a pleasant one. Communication has been difficult where you cannot talk to a live person. I have been extremely disappointed through this whole fiasco and will most likely take my future business somewhere else.

Cedar gazebo

My husband put this together ourselves over a couple of days. The pieces look heavy but being made from cedar they were not that heavy. Overall we are very pleased with the product.

Wooden Gable Roof gazebo

Gazebo is beautiful, great quality supplies. The instructions don't have words, only pictures which are hard to figure out at times, unless you're handy and familiar with building materials. Definitely have a ratchet set available. All pieces are labeled with coordinating letters to identify them.

All necessary hardware labeled and individually packaged in plastic trays, including the needed tools. Will definitely be purchasing again.

Durable and well engineered

Extremely well engineered and durable. Instructions were excellent, even though they were just pictures. Employee was very helpful to help get it into our vehicle. We rented uhaup. 200 and 300lb boxes!

Tiki hut in progress

You cannot beat the price of these products. The quality is incredible for what you pay. The price of cedar alone would approach the cost of the entire pavilion. I used mine to create a privacy barrier between my hot tub area and the neighbor's airbnb. I mounted tongue and groove boards on the back side and some bamboo reeds. Tiki's coming soon.

Beautiful gazebo, horrible instructions!

The materials provided to build the gazebo were very organized. It was appreciated to have all the hardware labeled clearly and to have extra hardware in case something was lost along the way.

Not the greatest build

I had the Assembly team build this and I had to have them come back due to the job that was done. Overall, it doesn't seem like a very clean build. The 3 pieces of wood don't line up and have exposed metal prongs showing, the Assembly Team stated this was a design flaw but that doesn't seem correct. The roof really makes a lot of noise in the wind and doesn't seem very sturdy. Overall, it's a good pergola, I just have this feeling due to the build that I will have issues down the road, things should line up better than this....

Great product-Terrible instructions

Even watching the You Tube Video in addition to reading the instruction manual did not help. You will need at least 3 adults, an 8’ ladder plus a couple of 6’ ladders. Wood pieces were poorly marked on the end of each pc. Wood product arrived slightly bowed but wood is pliable enough to be corrected. Finished product is sturdy

we purchased this gazebo 3 weeks ago. ordering was smooth, delivery was excellent and the packaging was great. just installed it last weekend with 3 hours of prep to get everything ready the first day, the second day we had 5 hours into it and it was done. two things on install do not tighten the bolts on the ridge beam until just before the roof panels and eyeball it to make it straight. we put a wood prop under it to keep it straight until the final tightening. the fit and finish is pretty good, not great but the kit went together really great.

Fortunately I have a very talented son who was able to follow the directions and sort out the million pieces to put this together! End result is amazing and I can’t wait to start sitting out under it.
