Be aware there is no base to this planter.

The description of this planter box is very misleading. When I read "drainage holes" I assumed there was a bottom to the planter with drainage holes and this is why I purchased it. I was wrong - there is no bottom to the planter. So you have to find a pot or liner of exactly the right dimensions to fit inside the planter. The planter itself is fine, easy to assemble and looks nice. But I had to fabricate a support for the base to hold up the plastic pot which I eventually found to fit inside it. So a nice planter but a very misleading description. I coated it with a protective spray made by Cabot and we will see how it holds up.

They are well made and go together very easy! I used a plastic container to hold the plants and soil.

No bottom

The planter is well made and looks great. However, the description specifically states “Planter Box with Drainage Holes”. Actually there’s four sides and NO bottom. The sides are one inch above ground, so soil will flow.
