It will do ok --- I had a terrible time finding any spread or comforter large enough for the mattress. while this covers the whole mattress, it is too long on the bottom corners. But it will do better than anything else I have found. Don't know how I bought such a huge mattress!!!!???

Good quality

Seems good quality cotton. Design basket weave is easy to blend in any style room. Pillow shams are well constructed with one end to tuck that gives a nice finish. The king size fits well and hangs just right to floor. Being cotton I will be mindful of directions for laundering.

Poor quality fabric

I purchased two of these in burnt orange. The first time I washed them the lint screen needed cleaned 5 times. I was hoping that the second washing would be better but it wasn't. It is honestly unbelievable how much they shed in the dryer and take hours to dry. Probably going to have to pitch them as they are going to ruin the dryer or cause a fire in the dryer vent. Otherwise they would have been perfect. However absolutely do not recommend.

Good weight

LOVE the 100% cotton. It is nice and thick, has a good weight to it. Was concerned my darker blanket (brown) would show through the white bedspread. Nope. Washed it and it came up great. I bought a CA KING and I do wish the sides were about an inch or 2 longer. Measurements are 120 inches square. Not short enough to warrant a bedskirt. Overall a great product. Love the cotton especially here in California during our dry, hot summers.

Very serviceable product

I needed new valances, but my bedroom was decorated several years ago, and one of the colors was a rust shade but not predominate. However, black was a good color for replacement. I no longer wanted the heavy quilted spread. I wanted one that could be used year around as a light weight cover. I needed 110" width, and this woven spread meet the need. However, full width such as that makes the corners drag. I wish this would have had rounded corners, but since I sew, I rounded them myself. It worked out well.

White queen

Exactly what I was looking for a spare room queen bed. However, like some other reviews, there was an odor. But I aired outside on a nice day and it is gone. The plastic packaging is the odor producer. I usually save these for other uses but this is tossed as the snell was not going away. Hayneedle and their vendor should look into this.

My original review of this item was premature so I want to give a more accurate review now that I have had it for a few weeks. Although it is 100% cotton and very soft, it is not a quality item and is cheaply made. It is loosely woven so it tends to snag very easily. On the underside, it is already starting to little pulls that you would tend to see in an item that is very old and worn. This item is certainly not worth the ***I paid for the king and is not recommended. I have certainly paid less for higher quality, (heavier weight, tighter weave, better wear). This item is not recommended for purchase. Keep looking!
