Very Disappointed

I hate these. If I had picked them up in a brick and morter store I would have never purchased them. I don't like the feel of them. They're not very absorbant. They just kind of move the water on your body around. It's hard to describe. They became discolored after the first wash. They're nothing like the towels that BB&B carried in their stores. I'll never buy anything on this site again. If I can't pick it up and inspect the quality I'm not buying. I hate it that all their stores closed. This is a sorry substitute where Bed Bath and Beyond can get away with selling merchandise of poor quality.

The Towels I've Been Looking For

I can't say enough about these towels. It may sound strange, touting about a towel or towels in my case, but these towels are so absorbent. I can't believe it. They're so soft and once around and the moisture is off your body. The blue color that I'd show is so rich and wash after wash it seems to be staying in the fabric.

I love these towels so far! Super soft and absorbent. I have three bathrooms, white, forest, green, and black. It's nice to know where each towel goes 26 sets for Cibo 18 set for my oldest boy, and 26 sets for my husband and I.

Lint, Lint & More LINT

The towels are only ok. But if you want some LINT, get these. Even after 4 washes, the lint from these towels covers everything in my bathroom, including me! Never seen anything like this. I would NOT buy these again. I'm not going to even mention all the thread pulls.

Best Towels in the Business

My fiance loves these towels. They are super absorbent and sturdy. I gifted these as a surprise and didn't know how much he would like them. I recommend others to give these a try.

Never Disappoint

Marche never disappoints me. Nice colors to choose from that do not bleed. Good quality soft absorbent towels. I've purchased more than once for myself and as gifts too. The set of 4 matching hand towels are also excellent f.y.i. Personally I love that they are bit larger than many hand towels.

I purchased these towels several years ago and I still have some of them. They were very thick and absorbent and I loved them so much that I ordered new ones. The towels I received are no way the same as the ones previously purchased. They're not as thick, they are pilling after just 1 wash. I'd like to know where and how I can purchase the quality of the same towels that I had. I did order them exactly from "my order" history so I assumed the'd be the same. I am so disappointed.

These Towels Passed our Test

This matched what we saw on-line. What we really liked about these towels is they were heavier than what we expected which was a nice surprise. We washed them in COLD water and dried them at normal temperature in the dryer and they held up nicely. There was a little shedding or little specks I noticed in the shower after drying off but nothing to cry over. I assume that will diminish over time. I've never seen new towels not do this a little. Great value and we will be ordering 2 more. We only ordered 2 as a trial. Its passed our test.

I'm buying three or four more sets

I bought these in two colors, the aqua and the cream. I didn't really expect much even though they were fairly expensive, but they exceeded my quality expectations. They are very soft and substantial without being heavy.These are quality come up may be the best tells of ever purchased. They washed very nicely. I really like the little loop that allows you to hang them up as shown in the photograph. I'm buying three or four more sets

Substantial! And an unboxing tip.

New towels are always a treat. These are substantial in weight. I chose white for the possible use of bleach when laundering/ spot cleaning. Caution: Unboxing. Have a pair of scissors handy when you remove the paper bands around the pair of towels. You'll want to carefully cut the little plastic ties that hold the towels in their fold. I popped one and got an immediate run of thread in the weave of the towel. I cut the foot-long thread and carefully tied the ends into secure knots. Again, I chose practicle white but there's a beautiful range of colors from which to choose. Each towel has a hanging loop at one end.

Thick and heavy!

This is the second time I have ordered this brand of towel. It is extremely thick and heavy. So far, no strings have appeared. I will order more of these when I need them. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that after showering, the towel doesn't seem to completely absorb all the water. It is cotton, so it should. Not really a big deal. If you want a really nice thick towel, this is the brand you should buy!

Well made thick cotton towels.

The towel color is perfect for what I wanted. We ordered the risk and it is a more russet or cooper color or as I would describe it as terra-cotta. This was the color I had wanted because it matches the Mexican tile and sinks in our bath that are a terra-cotta color. I only gave them a 4 star because I'm having some problem with air drying after we use them. This should not be a problem in New Mexico. I've washed them several times and I hope they will dry better once all the sizing is out. These are thick heavy towels that state they are cotton.

yum. yum yum yum. i like cotton towels when they balance thickness with absorbancy... some brands are too smooth and slick and don't actually soak up the water they are supposed to. I washed these out of the box and put them into rotation and I'm very pleased. They are thick and pluffy enough but still very absorbant... the selvedge and hems are sturdy and I expect they will wear well. the "Tea Rose" is a balanced greyed pink, not too sweet, too warm or too cold... I would recommend this brand 10/10 and will probably purchase a few more.

These are gorgeous towels, the color is a deep dark navy like I wanted. Huge, even though I knew the dimensions at the time of purchase, it was a surprise when I opened the towels and laid them out to look at them. They are so soft, washed up beautifully. Instructions said to dry on low, and by doing that you don't shrink the decorative band on the two edges. It will shrink some but dried on low heat prevents a lot of that. Absorbed nicely during use and air dried out good. My climate is dry, so if yours isn't I am sure you know how to handle that problem. I love how thick and luxurious these towels are later I will order more. Pure luxury. Very happy with purchase and Overstock had these at a great price.

This was just wow! This was a very luxurious Bath Towel set. Although I didn't know what GSM meant it looked and sounded from the review to be excellent quality. I had to look up GSM on Google because no where was it defined in the explanations. This is what it said: "GSM is short for grams per square meter. All fabrics have a weight, and the standard measurement for the weight and quality of fabrics (including towels) is grams per square meter. This number refers to the density of the towel. High quality Turkish cotton towels are generally heavier and are more absorbent." Boy was this true! After washing per instructions, I dried them in my dryer and still couldn't get them completely dried in the middle. So I hung them out for a little more drying. These towels are amazingly heavy, soft and absorbent. They were thick enough to feel like a very nice blanket. Perhaps just a tad bit more luxurious than needed, but they are very nice. The only problem I had was with the color. The "plum" color had just a little too much of a red overtone for my love of purple. Otherwise these towels were amazing and well worth the price.

Confusing Product Information

My review is more for the confusing way this product is listed than for the product itself as I only received it recently. Having ordered a set of Superior Egyptian towels in the past (two each: bath, hand towel, washcloth) and having been pleased, I hoped to replicate. I searched Superior Egyptian towels and several appeared, all with the same picture. I selected what I thought was a set as before. What arrived was two bath towels. A check of my order and indeed I did order two bath towels. Additionally, they are NOT EGYPTIAN, as my previous towels. I bring this up for purchasers to be aware of the confusing way these are listed with Overstock. Carefully read the description. Do not assume you will be getting Egyptian cotton. It must say Egyptian cotton in the description and on the tag.

Affordable Quality

We order these blind from our trusted Overstock.com. I was anxious to see how these towels played out -- but WOW. They easily weigh twice as much as the ---------- towels that we purchased and are twice as absorbent. These beauties are great big, soooo soft and absorbent, i would count them well above and beyond the luxury hotel towels that these might be compared to. We just stayed at a high end hotel here in Durham and, frankly, these towels are fluffier, more substantial, much softer and bigger than those put out by the ** icon. SUPERIOR IS THE NAME FOR THESE TOWELS

I have to say I'm not really one for rating things after purchasing,I think after these towels I have become a new rater from now on. They are the most by far the best towels I've ever used after my bath/shower. My shower is no longer just a shower its an experience I look forward to knowing I will complete my shower with drying myself with one of these towels. I now have the luxury of a 5 star Hotel bath towel at home everyday. You can be the talk of your guests when leaving these towels in your guest bathroom. I can't say enough about them. I have other 900 gram towels purchased previously from a different seller and there is no comparison, when you pick up one of these even next to my other 900 gram towel you know your picking up a quality towel. They're not only THICK and very absorbent, you just know your handling something of quality. When you wash them in cold and dry them on low in the dryer they come out super. I've had them now a few months and have washed them several times we use a towel once and then in the wash it goes. My husband and I don't believe in using the same towel twice, because of the skin cells that come off on a towel after a shower, so after several washing's we haven't had any problem with our towels at all. If you want a towel to last longer then most and have an not just have a shower but an experience then I will recommend these towels to you. You won't be sorry.
