Perfect for a room with limited space.

We had a large storage cabinet with 32” TV inside and wanted to upgrade however the storage cabinet couldn’t fit a bigger TV. We ordered this in hopes of getting a Samsung TU-8300 55” tv to fit in the room and after hours of searching websites we stumbled across this entertainment center. Not only was it easy to assemble and looked nice but we saved enough space to not only mount the new TV but add two Polk T50 speakers and a 10” subwoofer in the same space. No regrets about this purchase and it holds all the stereo, blu-ray, VCR and surround sound equipment. We saved $31 because we purchased it as a special buy but even at full price this item is a great purchase. The TV mount includes M8x1.25 40mm screws but I did have to run out to purchase a 4 pack of M8x1.25 50mm screws from Lowes because the included screws were too short. Every TV will mount differently but keep it in mind that you may need to purchase different length screws for your application.

unsure of stability

I put this together today. The parts are labeled wrong. If the instuctions said use A and all A contained were caps to go on stop of bolts, then you gotta use something else and figure out which part you really need. I bought a 50 inch tv to mount and will need help. I'm not so sure about the small stand's ability to stabilize the weight of a 50 inch tv. I also thought the tv mount could be moved up or down. So far it doesnt seem like the height can be adjusted. So I may have to return it. The only good thing I can say is, so far is the stand fits in my corner because its small. However, because the tv is 50 inches, it wont fit in the corner of my room.

Pretty, but

I like the tv stand, but the tv (55”) won’t stay level and it thrusts forward in all 3 positions.

assembly instructions were good, not very difficult to put together. must review instructions first, take time, follow each step, and at least an hour

great space saver without being bulky. love that its freestanding and has much needed shelves to accomodate other devices or supplies. great that wires can be routed through opening in back where they are not seen. Like that it is tall enough with extension that you get great view of tv without placing tv on wall. great product at very good price.

Solid stand

This stand is rock solid. I have a 32 inch tv mounted to this and I am not concerned with it tipping over. I'm knocking off one star because it doesn't fit a standard AV receiver. The shelved are 15 inches deep, but the back column takes up 2 inches, which leaves 13 inches of usable shelf space. My AVR hangs off the front by an inch or two. Not a deal breaker because this is in our workout area.

Common Sense for Set-Up will get you through it.

On the set up to connect to your TV just have an open mind about the connection. There are multiple ways to connect to your TV because they can't cover all the possibilities you will encounter with so many different types of TV's. Make sure to flip the panels before advancing in the set-up, It is very sturdy and heavier than I thought but it works well so I am very pleased with it. Just be patient and think through your final steps before you get frustrated........use common sense on this.

I did not want a large tv stand so this is a great size, it fits perfectly in a corner. However, I thought the cords could be inserted into the back pole so my puppy couldn't chew them. Instead, it's just a clip to tie them together.
