Color was gray and not as described!

It was a beautiful item, but the color was not as described and I had to return it. I was very disappointed. The return was very easy however to bring back to the store.

Great item except for odor.

Bench arrived packaged well, in excellent condition, and on time as advertised. Shipped quickly and easy to track. The bench has a strong chemical smell inside the storage area that is very hard to remove.

Love the storage unit!

I was extremely impressed with the quality of the storage bench for the price. Inside lid was well finished without the inner lining outside of the edge of the lid. I wish they had an ivory color for my main guest room!

While I bought this months ago, I've only recently put it together and placed it in my living room. I am extremely happy with this bench! It was just going to be a bench for under a window, but when I realized how nice it looked, I decided to use it as a table in front of the sofa. That ip was very easy, and while the bench is light weight, it is very sturdy. The nailhead trim is a great touch. I was worried that they would be wonky but they're perfectly straight. The fabric looks much more expensive than the cost, and the storage is very deep. I can't express how great this is. A neighbor saw it; she was really impressed. She thought I'd paid much more than I did. If you're thinking of buying - do it!

Great product

Exactly as advertised. Easy to put together (literally attaching 4 feet) sturdy construction and matches our decor. Fits well with our queen-sized bed but would recommend a bigger one to look good with a king-size bed. The color is a little darker than the photo but has lighter grey threads in the pattern so it is still a good color match to the headboard we also purchased at Nebraska.

Like it but....

This is a nice storage bench. The color of the fabric was true to the images online. We bought it not only for the storage, but also extra seating during the holidays. The only reason for 4 stars is that it holds a max weight of 200lbs. It's large enough for two adults to sit on, but the weight limit is challenging for two adults to use. It definitely doesn't feel sturdy enough to test those weight limits. We keep it by our front windows and our dog loves sitting on it and guarding the house!

Awesome storage bench

Everybody in my family loves this bench. We have been using it for a while now and it still looks new. We store the grandkid's coloring books and toys in it. The fabric looks great and is durable also. We would definitely buy again if ever in the market.

Doesn't allow for sitting

Be aware that if you're looking for a bench to sit on, this is not it. It's a beautiful piece but the legs bent easily. My son who is 160 lbs sat on it to play video games (not jumping, bouncing on it or anything that would cause it to break). Two of the legs bent inward and I can't use it to sit on. If you look at the legs they're not sturdy. When I called to ask what can be done, the representative told me it's not meant to sit on, some are but not this one. If it's for decorating and light storage then this is a great bench.

My Grandkids' Toy Chest

I love this bench. It was a house-warming gift, but I quickly found it to be a great toy chest for my visiting grandchildren's' toys. The 2-year-old goes right to it upon arrival because he knows where I keep his toys. It is comfortable and serves as a great window seat. It does not look plastic like a similar chair that I purchased. Great buy.

Nice Looking but Upholstery Seems Thin

Seems well built enough, and nice looking I still think, but the upholstery had stray threads coming from the fabric edges hanging out wherever there was an unbound fabric edge. I spent a few minutes cleaning them up. I'm concerned the fabric won't stand up to much abuse (as ottoman/coffee table) so we bought something more durable for our living room ottoman and instead use this bench at the foot of our bed (before it got ruined).

Beautiful Bench

I love the storage bench. Beautiful color and looks quite expensive. The issue I'm experiencing is that the "feet" are extremely hard to put into the hole. However, beyond that issue, I would highly recommend the purchase of this item. 6/26/21 -- I'd like to upgrade my review to five stars. I mentioned that I was having problems getting the feet on the bench. I called my daughter for assistance. She took one look at the legs, pulled off the proctective cover, and screwed the legs into the bench in less than 2 minutes. I would recommend this item to anyone. It adds a sense of class to my room. So glad that I purchased it!

Great bench, awful hinge design......

The bench itself is pretty, fits perfectly in the space we had and seems pretty sturdy. But the hinges are worthless. The first time we opened the bench, the left hinge came out, we attempted to repair it and after a little bit of frustration simply decided to take the right hinge off and use it without hinges. It is against the footboard of our bed, so we'll just lean the top against the footboard when open.

Great Little Bench!!

The perfect bench for the end of our bed! We are very pleased with the quality and the look of this bench. The darker color worked perfectly with matching our fabric headboard. It added a very elegant touch to our bedroom without spending a fortune! And I shouldn't say "little" bench - it is a good size, not too big and not really small - just perfect.

Great Entry Bench

Love this bench! It is a great piece of furniture for the price and very easy to assemble. The only thing you have to put on are the legs. I did have to figure out where the holes were to screw in the legs as it is a piece of fabric under the bench without and openings for the legs. You will have to feel for the opening with your hand and then insert the screw/ leg. The color is a charcoal gray. I placed it at my entry way. The storage is a great addition.

I love this storage bench. The quality is great, it is roomy and beautiful. The hinged top makes getting into it easy. The material is wearing very well, even with my two cats climbing all over it. The color was just as it was pictured. I'm now thinking of adding a second one for my bedroom to store all my quilts in.

Our new house lacked the storage we needed, so the Madison Park Bench was perfect for our needs. It is the right color to blend in with the bedroom decor. It also has enough storage for the extra blankets and pillows. It was just what we needed, and just at the right time.

Great bench! You won't be disappointed

I love this storage bench. At first I was a little disappointed at the size of the storage inside, it's a bit shallow. But the color and the quality more than makes up for it. It goes perfectly in my gray and teal bedrooms and the hinges seem to be very sturdy as well. The studs along the bottom are neat and straight as well. The top is not button tufted but there is still some texture to it with a semi pin tucked square patch pattern. I would buy this again and I would recommend it!
