You get what you pay for

These look nice but the hardware is less than desirable. The screws are not good and strip out easily. You will find screws under your chairs before long.

These are ABSOLUTELY perfect!

These stools are just perfect! Buy them! There isn’t a single thing that I would change about them. The comfort, beauty, color, swivel, material and price are exactly what I was looking for!

Ridiculous policies

Picked them up, they were both assembled one had plastic over the seat one had a garbage bag over the seat, they were dirty and scratched refused them and they were reordered. 2nd time picked up, 1 was in a box fully wrapped in plastic, one was wrapped in plastic but the 2 leg boxes and 1 hardware box were separate. Took them home to assemble, 1 stool had been partially assembled but was missing a box containing cross leg braces and hardware bag had been opened and re tapped but was missing several screws. It is obvious partially assembled stool was a floor model or return, I expect to receive brand new items when purchased. Tried to return them to store but was told had to go through customer service, contacted customer service advised cannot be refunded only store credit or have to order missing parts. Have purchased from Teppermans before but this will be the last time and will not recommend the store to anyone, ridiculous return policy even though I was sold partially assembled stool which was missing pieces. Now have to wait 4-6 weeks for pieces and hardware to be sent from distributor……..

Really like these bar stools. I got them much cheaper than what Ashley is selling them for. Instructions state that it takes 2 people to assemble. I assembled both by myself and I’m not the strongest person

Nice, Love Them but Small Compromises

Very true to pictures and quality is ok. Many staples can be seen but they don’t show much when stool is upright and placed at bar. The legs are black, not dark brown, no question. I’d prefer brown but seller worked with us. I like that the chair springs back into place so all look the same. They swivel nicely but are a bit too tight. They are comfortable and a little too stiff but that should help them keep their shape. Assembly was ok, do not cut off zip ties until base it attached to chair. Boxes arrived filthy and one was pretty smashed, so smashed that dirt got past the box and the plastic covering. I was able to get most of the dirt off. FedEx deliveries often arrive like that, I wish everyone would quit using them.

The good and the bad

This is an attractive counter stool. Solid and nice fabric. Easy assembly. I bought two but one has a hole in the leg and staples are showing on top of the fabric in back. NFM made it right and said they will send me a new one already assembled.

Good looks, ok quality

Making the legs even was time consuming. The look is exactly what we were looking for and the price was reasonable. Cushions are not as soft as I would like, but they function as intended. I did have trouble with the quality of the first stools I ordered (grease stains right out of the box), and the replacement process was odd, since I was instructed to donate the chairs and submit a receipt for replacement chairs.
