Very basic but serviceable

I saw folks complaining about ironing this item, but that is to be expected. I have very plush rolled back parsons chairs and it just barely fits, and even where the back and seat meet, cannot be tucked into the fold. The fabric is very basic and rustic duck but appears durable. I would love to be able to dye them but I don't think they would turn out well. For the money, I think it is a fair value.

I love the fact that these are cotton and rustic feeling. -1 star because there was some variation in color between the set I ordered recently and the same ones I ordered a month ago. Be warned to expect some variation between batches.

Love my chair covers

I love the gray color, fits really nice. I purchased the red ones 2 year’s ago however the fabric is much thinner but the price is the same. Not sure why they’re so much thinner. I decided to keep them very nice and they wash hang to dry, well just use a little steam in your ironing.

These fit my chairs beautifully, but they really do wrinkle! But, when placed on the chairs, fitting just right, the main wrinkling takes place below the seat, and I just hope that noone looks that low. Wish that they had the blue available, but still very happy with the purchase. 4 star only because of the wrinkling, and I prefer to avoid ironing.

These chair covers seem to be well made with straight seams and hems.. The fabric is a light to medium weight duck cloth. The measurements given on the web site are accurate. These have not been washed yet, so I don't know about shrinkage, but being cotton, I assume there will be some.

Wrinkled

I was so looking forward to putting them on my dining room chairs. Okay wrinkled I'm like all right I can deal with that get the iron ,I ended up giving them to my daughter-in-law. I just couldn't deal with all the wrinkles and the iron wasn't doing it see I have a disability of being in pain all the time so I could not deal with the pain trying to iron chair covers so. That's why I gave Them to but my daughter-in-law she likes them.

Never again unfortunately

They are nice chair covers BUT plan on ironing them, then I tried steaming them and they still look just ok. This material is just awful to do anything with it. I did keep the covers after putting so much work into them, but truthfully, after I remove them from my chairs, I will give away. Hours of work that I could have been spending with my family.

Good for covering worn out but sturdy chairs I used these during the holidays to cover some slightly worn chairs. The chairs has since moved on but I still have the covers. I can use them with my current chairs. Maybe a possibility during the holiday !

Only received half my order

The color matches the photo exactly. They are rather wrinkled obviously but I don’t mind the look- just know if you want the crisp look as in the picture you’re going to have to iron.

Ill Fitting on a Standard Parsons Chair

This doesn't fit a standard square parsons chair. Way too big in the back of the parsons chair - it drags underneath the chair legs - so you might catch the chair cover under the back chair legs - and too short in the front of the chair. This odd fit makes the chair skirt "blouse" out creating an untailored look. The fabric is thin and slightly low quality.

Buy if you feel like ironing all the time.

It's nearly impossible to find slipcovers for chairs that don't look chintzy--I only bought one of these and if I had fussed it a lot more it might have fit. As it was, it just looked bad. And I had DH sit on it several times, to see if it stayed in place. Nope. Not worth it. It would probably work better over a microfiber covered chair, but on wood? Nope. The quality was fine, it just didn't work for me. II ironed the dickens out of it and that helped, but overall, not worth it.

Sturdy and washable

These great slipcovers are the perfect neutral for every room. They are a good quality fabric which washes and dries well, so dining chairs can be covered with no worries. The back bow gives them a special touch. I've washed mine twice since receiving them and they get better each time. For a wonderful price you can dress up any chair for any room in your house.

Covers require considerable labor to look good

This is the third set of dining chair covers I've purchased from Surefit. The previous purchases were a good value and easy to use. This time I bought cotton duck chair covers; previous purchased were polyester. They came so tightly folded in tiny packages that I can't get the wrinkles out with a steamer. They have to be washed and laboriously ironed to be wrinkle free. Also, the dimensions are different than previous purchases of identical poly covers. They are at least two inches longer in length and in the depth of the seat panel. Since I have to wash and iron them anyway, I decided to try drying one in a hot dryer and that worked well to shrink them about 2".

Cover not fitted and it does not fit my chairs-

I would not recommend these because the fabrick is thinner than the pictures depict. They are 100% cotton and easily iron but they easily wrinkle. They are not fitted enough for my taste. They look like a sheet over a chair. Im very disappointed to learn to return the one I bought to see if I liked them costs 1/2 the original cost! Beware! Thank goodness I didnt buy the six I need. Lesson learned about returns.

These just arrived and I'm very excited! They actually fit my oddly sized dining chairs, the chair cushion is wide & tapers in towards the back! I have tried many covers that claim to cover difficult sized but didn't! I've finally found what I'm looking for!!! The fabric is a great weight & weave & probably will not pick, pill or have any issue with becoming thread bare. I also love the full length of the cover. The color is lovely, very true to the picture/description. **in the picture I had just pulled it out of the bag, but after steaming them they were perfection'

Oh My Gosh the Ironing involved!!!!!!

I spent almost three hours ironing the 6 chair covers! They were wrinkled so badly the only way I could get the wrinkles out was to get them wet and iron them dry! It was so much work, I teased everyone that they could only look at them, not actually sit on them. They are lovely and well made, but the wrinkles and the ironing were crazy. If I ever order these again, I will plan on taking them to the dry cleaner to have them steamed, but that adds another $10.00 per chair to the price.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I received these in the mail. They arrived super-fast, so that alone blew my mind, but I didn't take any proper measurements of chairs at home nor did I pay attention to measurements in details listed on the site, so i was very happy when i broke 1 of these open to try on one my chairs & saw how well it fit. It would fit chairs of almost any height & any width, because the fabric offered a little extra give to it, plus add in the fact you can tighten it by tying the 2 ribbons around the back, it was a great neutral tone color that would work with essentially any person's color motif or style dining room. 5-stars.

Perfect for the holidays

For the price these were worth it. I just wanted something to keep the chairs clean and I believe these will do just that but with some style. It looks like this will be easy to toss into the washer should they get soiled. The price wasn’t bad and I won’t feel bad if I eventually toss them and buy new ones. The material isn’t very thick so I don’t expect him to stand up to a lot of wear over the long-term. But they’re good for now and will probably last at least two or three years.

I liked the chair covers a lot when I received them. They had a nice sheen to them but once I washed them, the shine was gone. They really wrinkled and I tried very carefully to prevent that from happening. I have bought several types and colors from different company's but these have been the worse. I was really surprised because I believe Surefit covers are the best! It could be the color because this is a darker tan and I wanted a lighter color. I will keep them and use them but next time, I will have them dry cleaned so I DON'T HAVE TO IRON THEM!!!!!!

Great Purchase!

LOVE these chair covers! What a great and inexpensive way to update your dining room chairs. I got the white color, it's more of a linen/light beige color which is exactly what I wanted. They are a tad bit thin but sturdy and classy. Once I got them in the mail, I washed them in the washing machine and dried them on a low cycle in the dryer. I spray starched and ironed them afterwards, they were still a bit wrinkly but after laying over the chairs for a couple of days they are doing great. I may hit it with a steamer to give it the look in this picture. I also sprayed scotch guard on them to protect them from stains. Can't rave about them enough.
