NOT REAL WOOD - it is pressed wood

Cat tree is not "real wood", it is pressed wood. The bottom piece came with a large crack in it. It was poorly packed and it cracked because it is pressed wood and not real wood. I have 2 other Armarket Cat trees and both are real wood. I am very happy with my 2 other trees and VERY disappointed in the quality of this one.

This thing is really big! Very sturdy even at the top. My dogs are jealous of the cat.

Best Cat Tree Ever

The quality of the Armarkat Premium trees is exceptional. Had the same one for 10 years then foolishly bought a different brand that lasted only a year. Now we bought this same one again. Some differences between cheap trees and these: the posts are thicker and have a much wider sisal wrap, the hardware is heavy duty and screws down tightly making the tree much sturdier, the platform edges are smoothed, and the carpet is far more durable. Get one for your cats immediately!

I've only had this tree for five days at this point, but I had a very easy time setting it up. My cat really likes the cubby hole, but hasn't tried the floors above. She's getting older and is a little overweight (which is something we are working on) though, so this is expected. You may want to anchor it to the wall if your cat flies up and down it, but really just watch how they interact with it to see if additional safety measures are necessary.

My cat loves his cat tree! This tree is tall but takes up some space at the bottom. The rope is my cat’s favorite toy. He likes to sit perched high and likes the round part. Overall, we are happy with the tree.

This is not for larger cats but I think "normal" sized cats would love it. Our poor fatty couldn't fit through the tube, and they never used the hammock at all. They also had a hard time jumping up onto the first level. Had to give this away.

The tree was easy to assemble and doesn't have a huge footprint. I have 2 cats (one is 15 pounds, the other 11 pounds) and the tree is extremely sturdy...it hasn't swayed at all with all of the jumping on and off of it. And the dark brown fabric is so much better for hiding dirt.

Love it! I prefer the darker color over the typical off white because both of my cats have dark fur that eventually gets embedded and make the trees look dirty. This was easy to assemble and it’s sturdy. The only downside is the holes for the cats to jump through and the little cave area are small. My 8 pound cat fits perfectly, but I can’t say the same and for my 17 pound cat!

Very soft, cats took right to it

So far so good. It arrived in a week in a managable size box. Took about 45 minutes to assemble. Seems sturdy, cat is happy with it!

My cat absolutely loves it. It gives her a scratching post, a place to survey her world, and plenty of good exercise. Well made and sturdy.

It arrived a day earlier than promised. The product is as promised and displayed in the advertisement. I do have one suggestion though. Don't put it together with a cat in the room! Clint the CAT was so curious and excited that he walked all over it as I was building it, he nearly shredded the instructions before I was done, and he tested out the scratching posts before they were secure. He absolutely loves it! We have it set up in a window that's blocked by an air conditioner in the summer that blocked the view when he was on his little round cat condo, and will have a bird feeder in the winter. Due to an injury he suffered outside this summer, he's now a strictly inside cat so this cat tree is quite a blessing for him.

I was researching for a cat tower that would hold three at least 20 pound cats. This is perfect. Putting together was easy. Only one area did the holes not match up and that was the condo part to hold to bottom platform. The only problem I know of is that there is going to have to be a piece of furniture next to it for the cats as kittens to get on to it. Other then that, it is made very well, very soft surface and know that when our kittens come home, the perch is going to be perfect.
