I have an old set of cabinets from my kitchen that I was refurbishing for use in my basement. The house was built in 1952. One of the catches was broken. Found it on line. Pretty much identical to the original and an exact replacement.

Looks to me like HD sent generic version of these magnetic catches rather than Amerock originals--at least, there's no "Amerock" name/logo etched into the ones I received. In any case, the units fit and work perfectly well: simple plug 'n play replacements for a few of our old cracked and broken originals.

This catch is strong. The click it makes when the doors close is a daily satisfaction. It came with two versions of the metal strike plate, flat and angled. I was glad to have both for a lower cabinet. The two doors were situated a bit differently so I used one version on the right and the other version worked on the left. It's too low and dark to notice the difference.
