This is nothing like the picture at all it’s all brown and no black in it. It’s also got a smell to it that makes me want to return it as it is awful as I have washed it 4 times and the smell has never came out.

Worth it!

Really nice. Not as soft as the name leads one to believe, but a nice quality fabric. I prefer a zipper closure on duvets, but this one has buttons. And I made a mistake in assuming this was brown and gray plaid, but it's actually brown and tan. That's my fault though. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it - especially the price. This exact same set sells elsewhere for more than twice the price. I'm still waiting for the wrinkles to work their way out, but it looks good on the bed.

Great Duvet Set!

Soft and well made

I received a twin size set and use it for my 8 year olds bed. He says it is soft and warm, and I appreciate that it washes well. I would purchase a similar set in the future.

Disappointed with the Truly Soft Paulette Plaid Taupe Twin XL 2 Piece Duvet Cover Set, received as a sponsored product from Influenster. While it boasts softness, the overall feel is cheaply made. The quality doesn't match expectations, even considering its complimentary nature.

These are some of my favorite styles of comforters for many different reasons. This comforter is great for all seasons especially the hot and warmer seasons like summer and spring because it’s thinner so it’s not going to make you hot and sweaty while you’re under it. Which works out great because I’m one of those people who can’t sleep without a comforter even when it’s hot. I just feel like I need something covering me and sometimes a sheet is just too thin to do the “comforting” job. I would prefer something thicker though for the winter months because here in Chicago our winters get extremely harsh and I usually turn the heat down at night to save money, but aside from winter, I see it working great during the other seasons of the year. It’s also extremely soft and flexible because of the smooth velvety texture. Since it doesn’t really have much fluff/stuffing in the comforter, it’s the texture of the material itself that makes it really soft and smooth feeling because of the double brushed velvet. It really does give a luxurious feel. I’d even use this as a blanket just while chilling on the couch since it’s so lightweight and easy to carry around. It’s also really cute! A very classic look that can fit into most styles of bedrooms! I love the quilted style because it adds a subtle touch to the look that makes it look way classier and standout more without looking too loud and busy. It fit into my bedroom aesthetic just perfectly!

This duvet set is very nice and has the duvet as well as the pillow case. It has a very soft and cool feel to it. Some duvets are heavy and hot but not this one. The plaid design and dark colors are perfect for a guys room or little boy because this is a twin. I would definitely recommend this set because it feels so nice. The reason for the 4 star rating is the material is thin. That concerns me. Other than that, it's a great buy.

It’s thin, feels cold, soft, easy buttons and not a delicate material. Cons: it’s too thin for my liking. I would use it on a guest room because it’s made from a durable material, but it won’t make it to my bedroom. I would consider it good for my 7y/o cousin.
