Ordered and received this beautiful, moderned styled bathroom scale. This scale does not interfere with the functioning of a pacemaker. My family member has a pacemaker and can now weigh without without apprehension of endangerment.

Not the best scale

It was returned a couple hours after it was purchased. It was so heavy. I could barely lift it and it would not sit flat on any floor that I have that my previous one has sat flat on., Plus it never weighed the same thing twice

Taylor Stiffed

I purchased this Taylor bathroom scale because I had one for years and have been very satisfied with it. Unfortunately however, I am returning the new one because when I switched it to pounds mode it won't stay. While it's flattering to see my weight in kilograms, 90, it's an inconvenience to have to constantly do the times 2.2 to get my actual weight.

Accurate weight!

The scale is accurate unfortunately. LOL! Weighed at my Dr.'s, came home got on the Taylor scale and weight was the same. So I guess it's accurate.

Too many bath scales

I purchased a bathroom scale when I went to check out all my information. Turned red and said I had to do over.unknowingly I purchased two scales.When they were delivered I returned one to the Kohls store for credit.I purchased them on aCapital One credit card I was charged for 2 scales whenever I got credit. From Capital One Kohls would add another scale. I now have four bath scales on my Capita One bill.I can’t get rid of .A woman from Kohls tried to help but in vain

Nice looking and big readout

It looks nice and works well. During the setup you have to pull out a plastic strip that is keeping the battery from losing juice. It pulls out extremely hard and the directions say you may have to take the cover off. I did so but the battery popped out before I had a chance to see how it was positioned. I put it back together and it didn't work. Back to the directions. After redoing it, it worked. Nice big read out.

Very disappointing. A previous Taylor scale failed after about 20 years of good service, so I replaced it with a more modern looking model. However, (a) the feet under the platform are on a short base, which causes the scale to want to tip backwards unless you step 'forward' onto it, and - worse yet (b) the display is not back-lit, which makes it pretty much impossible to read without bending forward. ( Look for a scale with a bigger battery to avoid this problem) Overall, a mistake...

It's inaccurate by at-least 10.6 lbs.

This scale has times where it is great, but it also has a lot of issues. First of all, I used this for my extreme weight-loss challenge and it was fair accurate for the first 25 lbs i lost, then all of a sudden it has become inaccurate. It tells me I weigh drastically different depending where on the floor I put it, and yes I did try calibrating it multiple times. The scale can be off by at-least 10 lbs. Currently I'm having an issue where it is telling me that I weight 255.6 lb... but that strange because the day prior it said 250.1 lbs, and now it won't change from the 255.6 lbs despite me being on a 1500 calorie a day fast while working out 2 hours a day, the scale at my brother's house said i weighed 244.2 lbs. So i don't know why this scale stopped updating, but it's weird.

I'm happy with this purchase

This was within a pound of our physicians stand up beam scale. It is however very sensitive and needs to be in a very level location to get an accurate reading on this flat Earth. It comes with a lithium battery and is packaged securely. I'm 208.5 and I'm in no fear of breaking a this type of glass. It retains the weight reading for a bit after you step off the scale.

Not Useable! Severely Crooked!

Out of the box ... the manufacturer glued it so severely crooked that the display wasn't even lined up in the hole. Had a huge gap and couldn't read the numbers. Couldn't even work right. Quality control failed to the max! Who sends out a scale like that. No time for inconvenience of a return so threw it in the trash! Total loss!

A Weighty Issue

The Taylor Precision Products Chrome & Glass Lithium Digital Scale I purchased recently from Staples, with free delivery, has been a welcome addition to the household. It works well and is quite attractive. Unfortunately, it's also quite accurate - the numbers could be a lot lower, but the truth hurts! Kidding aside, I would recommend this scale, and Staples (especially the free delivery part), to anybody brave enough to want to know their current weight.

Taylor scale review.

Have only had the scale about 5 days, but it seems to be well made, and most importantly accurate. I was under the impression that this scale was supposed to track 2 people's weight over at least 2 separate weight readings. But alas it doesn't have that feature. But so far, for the price I am happy with it. The shipping price wasn't bad, and it arrived within about 2 days I believe.

Sturdy scale with repeatable results.

Thick glass surface is very sturdy. Plastic film under battery hard to remove. Screw had to be removed to permit film removal. First measurements are sometimes high by several pounds. After first measurement, measurements are repeatable to a tenth of a pound. Hard to assess accuracy. Reads higher than my old scale but it is very old. ERR occurs occasionally. There is no explanation. Can't assess reliability since I just got it.

Accuracy

This scale had a high rating on Consumer Reports. It seems to agree with the scales at our doctor’s office. Our previous scales always weighed four pounds less than the doctor’s scale. This scale is made of sturdy material and has an elegant appearance. It is a plus that it has a replaceable battery. Our previous scale did not have this feature and must be discarded (recycled) which is wasteful. A quality medical office scale would be more costly. I would recommend this scale for at home use.

Good looking and accurate too.

Years ago when I was still working in hardware at Walmart (I retired a couple of years ago though it says I am a Walmart associate) I saw this scale added to what we carried and thought what a nice looking one it was, I thought no more about it at the time because I had a perfectly good scale at home.

What I need in a scale. Accurate and repeatable.

I bought this scale to replace an older one that no longer read the same weight twice, no matter what kind of floor it was sitting on.

Great quality scales

This scales is great. It replaced a digital scales I had for 8 years that became unreliable in it's readings. It was also one you had to tap on to activate. I placed the Taylor scales on a tile floor. It is accurate. It is easy to see the read-out. It is attractive in my bathroom. Doesn't take up much room, yet provides ample space for your feet. It is also quality made at a very reasonable price. It was delivered sooner than I expected. It was packaged very securely with no damages. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Not accurate all the time

I bought this scale a few years ago and loved it but one customer is right. The scale does not take accurate weight and depends on where it is located. I thought the battery was low when it first started but it's gotten worse. I weighed myself 5 times in the morning and 5 times I weighed something different. Not good. I moved it to another room and same thing so I don't know how much I weigh unless I go to the gym. I am looking for a new scale as I right this. I won't buy this brand again.

Not as accurate as I hoped

I replaced an older Taylor scale with this one because I felt that the old scale was nor accurate. There is a high end physician beam scale at my health club and my old Taylor scale never seemed to give me the same readings as the health club scale. In fact my old scale rarely gave me the same weight twice even though I weighed myself again within seconds of taking the first weight.

It is consistent.

Our other scale, about 5 years old, would give us one reading one time, and if we stepped off and stepped back on a minute later, would be different by up to a pound. This scale is precise. It is quick. It is simple. And it is consistent. My only criticism is that the LED lights do not show up in darkness; I am weird enough to like to step onto the scale during my middle-of-night bathroom trip, and turning on the light can wake up my wife. Price is fair, merchandise is flawless. What more can one ask? My only unanswered questions are damage and longevity, and it's too soon to tell on those.
