Very poor quality! This scale stopped working after only 3 weeks!

Returning ASAP

Don’t buy it , it’s inaccurate and extremely laggy. Honestly get something else can’t be worst than this.

Intuitive, easy to use. Appreciate the removable tray for cleaning.

Disapointed

I like the look of it and the removable stainless cover, but stopped working after a few months of minimal use. It kept showing “Lo” on the screen and then shutting off. Disappointed.

Skip it

Bought this specifically for the removable top, but the scale is practically unusable. The display lags significantly and it’s hard to tell when it will update. I measured coffee beans and had to keep removing and adding beans, as the display would randomly jump a significant amount. Grams and milliliters are only measured to the whole number, so you cannot measure precise weights to the tenth or hundredth decimal point.

Not an instant read.

The scale lags, which doesn’t work when baking. I put in brand new Duracell batteries and it still lagged. Because of the lag I also don’t know if it is accurate.

Decebt Scale- Hard to clean

Previous models had flush display. This model has a recessed display that allows food/ etc to contact LCD and is hard to clean and keep hygenic.

I needed something small, affordable, and easy to use. This worked great and I love that it is something I can store without it taking up a lot of room.

Disappointing / Damaging the Taylor Brand

This scale is poor quality and unlike the reputation of Taylor products. The digital read lags, and 1-2 gram increments (for ingredients like salt and spices) are incredibly unreliable. This scale would possibly be fine for /- 5g inaccuracy, but defeats the point for my purposes. Another consideration is that the weight doesn’t recalibrate correctly when a container is removed… for example: if a unit were to weigh 10g total (container ingredients), the tare weight should read -10g when removed, and then should read less than -10g but more than 0 when the emptied container is placed back on the scale. Because this is not the case, you should press tare between every ingredient addition in a recipe. The irony is, buying a used Taylor product from 5 years ago is likely a better quality product than something purchased new today.

I just bought this in June. Popped new batteries in today and it does zip. Don't waste your $$$!

We just received this scale. It said lo so we replaced the batteries even though it was right out of the box. With new batteries it still says lo
