Large tray, readable numbers

I wanted this scale for my preschool classroom so that they may measure objects. The tray is large, which is perfect for little hands and toys that need weighing. Also the numbers are clear so the kiddos can easily read the numbers. The employees at the store I went to pick the item up at were helpful and friendly. They knew their inventory.

I had one similar for many years and it fell off my table and broke. What I didn't like about the photos for my new scale that is just great is the bowl that fits on top...there is no information that it is removable so I wasn't completely sure what it would look like once it arrived. The bowl IS detached.

Perfect size

The size of the container is perfect for separating meats in pound packages for freezing. The container or bowl does not fall off like with some other scales. I had one just like it before and accidentally dropped and broke it. I use it all of the time.

Nice scale with creepy crawler.

The product looks great but upon removing the scale from the box there was a live roach and had me super frightened.

Decent value

Have used just once and you need to zero the scale manually. It is very touchy and will move if you are not careful.

Taylor Kitchen Scale

Love, love, love this little scale. Measures 10 pounds and is perfect for the kitchen.

2nd one did not work either

Ordered one, returned because would weigh wrong, second one did the same thing, and it is not user error, I've been using these for years and these are just junk. Not as strong or as quality as my old Taylor either.

It just doesn't work.

I sell things online and immediately upon putting an item on this new scale, I knew something was wrong as I know that all the items are first class and under a pound with all the packing and box. Anyway, I tested it using my old Taylor, which is great, but dinged up from me dropping it all the time, and this new one was indeed wrong. I tested it many times using pounds of butter and yes, it just keeps measuring wrong. It's the same type as my old Taylor, but clearly not working. I put in for a return and hopefully the new one will work.

Just what I was looking for

Chose this scale instead of electronic one for its bowl. Very good scale for simple kitchen tasks. Well balanced. Description says "Pound/kilometer dial" which should be "pound/kilogram", apparently, and this makes cooking a lot easier as some good recipes use grams/kilograms. If you need a good kitchen scale, look no further.
