I use this scale to weigh fruit when I make jams. I also buy bulk meat, I weigh what I will need and repackage to freeze. This is a fantastic scale.

Comes in very handy to weigh my ingredients whe I'm doing my baking.

I was given to believe Taylor products were made in the US, they are just cheap Chinese made junk.

Awesome product.

It works ok, but if accuracy is important, maybe go digital. A 2 lb bag of coffee weighed out differently when placed horizontal vs vertical on the tray; vertical was almost spot on, horizontal was off a few ounces.

Be very careful when ordering

Problem with buying online and getting at a store further than I usually go. I meant to get something that gave smaller weight for cooking, and the model that maxes at 11 lbs. This goes to 22.. It's a good scale, just doesn't give ounces/gram portions as I'd like.

For us, better than digital

No batteries required & can weigh heavier items than digital scales can.
