I just wish this comes with detailed installation instructions or video. I have to search for hours how to install and it wasn't mentioned that it needs to preload. By the way, it is my first time installing this. But once it installed, it works!

Nice closer butt....

Went together well, and the instructions are reasonably good. The only thing I don't like about it is the amount of force required to open the door. It takes more pull to open the door than it should. Anyone with arthritic hands (like my wife) wouldn't be able to do it. I can't get an answer out of the manufacturer as to how to lessen the pull required to open the door. I may have to remove it and look for a better option.

I purchased 2 closers for a mobile office trailer with hollow metal doors. We have had several issues in the past related to the slamming of doors, high traffic, and settling of the office units. We would frequently have to fix the doors because they would become hard to close. We have had these closers installed for 2 months now and they work like a dream! I highly recommend these! We liked them so well that we ordered 8 more on top of our original order of 2 because we want to put them on all of our mobile office trailers!
