Nice shower bench

We bought this for our new shower and it is wonderful. We can sit down, shave, etc without a fear of falling. Truly a necessity for safety.

We did a bathroom renovation removing the bathtub for a walk in shower. I didn’t want a permanent seat or corner fixture in the shower. Overstock had this beautiful bamboo bench perfect for our bathroom. When it came the contractor said he should get one for his wife!

Not Ready For the Old Folks Home yet!

This beautiful Teak Shower bench fits exactly into my 1950's bathtub. Without fear, I can transport myself easily from the outer floor to the bench without the need for grab bars. At my age, they wanted to place a metal object into my tub to make things easier. This has just so much more class and does not remove my independence. Just like the metal ones they bring into your home with metal back and arms, to facilitate movement into the bathtub, one may want to have wet wash clothes already sitting atop the bench. It provides for such an easier transition.

Shipped fast. Good price. Great quality. Fits nicely in the shower and gives plenty of sitting room. I would definitely recommend this product. I’ve had several shower benches and this one works best overall.

Solid wood as described. Extremely nice quality. I did not measure the width prior to ordering so I would have an idea of the size. So it is a little larger than I anticipated but I love it and so does my husband.

Arrived assembled and in good condition. I was able to adjust the feet in the sloping shower stall without a problem. I just wish the feet had more grip to be slip-resistant. It slides a little on the tile floor of the shower stall.

Great price, great purchase, fast shipping

After going through 2 of the flimsy plastic/aluminum chairs, we wanted something that was going to last. This chair will definitely last. It is very stable and sturdy and looks great. My wife uses it in the bathroom as a chair to put on her makeup. When comparing prices on this model, Walmart had the cheapest price and it surprisingly arrived in two days.

We use this bench as a catch all for our shampoo and bath wash bottles. We love it. We did add some screw in rubber pads to the bottom of the legs to help keep it from sliding around. It fits perfectly in our space. Of course we also use it to sit on when needed. Very sturdy.

Unfortunately this item was a real disappointment. Although the wood is very heavy and strong, it's put together very poorly with gaps, and glue or something showing at all joints and a big chip out of one leg. If I could get a well made one I'd keep it. Hoping they can do that.

This shower bench/table was specifically purchased for stability in the shower. I have balance issues and this was a very sturdy and nice-looking piece of furniture that served me well. When not in use, I take it out of the shower and stack with rolled towels for the next person who uses our walk-in shower.

Bathroom Stool

This is heavy and sturdy which is good or bad depending on your back and need to move. I'm not sure it's Teak although it says it's solid wood. If any repairs were to be needed, not sure how that would be possible as it seems very sealed and stained all around. This will work for my needs. I do like the design.

This is a really nice, heavy duty bench. Substantial size I feel secure sitting on it in the shower. Looks really nice. I have a large walk in shower and it fits perfectly. Edit; After a year of daily use, one of the seat slats broke off and black mold was visible. I've ordered another one as I love the bench. Wish I knew how to keep it usable for more than a year.

This piece is very nice upon arrival -- large and sturdy and the finish is nice. It looks high quality. However, after less than a year of intermittent use, the stain has worn off in places. It looks much more worn considering how little it was used. For the price, I might consider another option.

Shower Stool

Beautiful!! Truly nice, high quality, heavy and sturdy, better than the pictures. Good price love it. I do not have it in the shower it is used for sitting when getting dressed in the bathroom. I don't know how it would hold up in the shower. Only peeve, there is a tiny mark in between the slats on top of bench, hence only 4 stars, not worth exchanging. Arrives fully assembled have already received lots of compliments from peeps that have seen it.

very very nice - just too big for my b room

wonderful stool - but, alas too big for my tiny bath. tried to return - pkg/ship store here would charge 50 - half price of item. wtg word from houz how much their return label would cost. if too much will set outside on carport patio with picnic benches for additional seating.

Very solid and sturdy but not for use in shower

This shower bench is large, very sturdy and comfortable which is perfect for my slightly over-sized husband who prefers to sit down and wash his feet in the shower. After 7 months of daily use, the visible finish is still in good shape. I gave it a minimal touch up with a stain touch up pen a couple months ago. We squeegee the flat surface after every use. After a month or two of daily use, I inspected the underside of the bench and noticed mold beginning to grow. The bench does not appear to have any protective finish on the underside. My plan at that time was to scrub it clean and apply a protective coating to the underside of the bench. Unfortunately, I did not get around to doing it and after 7 months of use, the top side still looks pretty good. The bottom shelf has an area near a joint that has cracked open a bit and a white crystal type substance is collecting. The (unsealed) underneath has numerous areas of black discoloration from mold and the bottom of the feet is pretty much coated in mold. I was able to scrub it clean but the black stains are still there and I am sure will be covered in mold again if left untreated. , ,, If you need a sturdy bench to sit on outside of the shower, I would highly recommend this bench. If you need a bench to leave in your shower, I recommend putting a water resistant finish on the underside of the wood before first use. I think mold on the bottom of the feet will be a constant issue to keep up with no matter what type of bench you purchase.
