I bought this at my local Walmart. Considering it cost $75, it is truly a spectacular piece of junk. I wouldn't recommend ordering this online at all. As others have said, the packaging is horrible and more likely than not it'll arrived dented. If you buy it at the store, unpack it and inspect it before you leave the store. Mine was dented in the back. It wobbles and I had to put something under one corner to steady it. On the plus side, all the drawers work okay; and the parts you can see--front, top and sides--are all okay. I count myself lucky. More trouble than it's worth to pack it up and return it. I live in a small town and Walmart is just about the only option for stuff like this, and I wasn't about to order it online.

Perfect size for my needs

This is a great filing cabinet for home. It IS a thin metal but perfect for my files and you can’t beat the price. The top drawer for supplies was bigger than I thought, so it’s perfect. Again, not heavy duty metal but those cost so much more. Also, got free same day delivery!

Horrible. Cheap. Folds and crumples like tin foil

The first one arrived dented do badly there was no way we could keep it and it had to be returned. Took it to the store so time wasted. They had one in stock to exchange, Got it home opened the box and it was WORSE!! I have to take this back to the store too!! The problem is that it has the exact dimensions that will fit under the desk. I have looked and nothing else has these dimensions. Amazon has this exact cabinet by different names. if you dont care what things look like and you dont mind a cheaply made product then this is for you.

I wanted a teal filing cabinet but figured I would just have to paint one myself to get the exact color I wanted. I came across this one accidentally and decided to order it and see if it would work. It is just what I wanted and the color is gorgeous. The sides and frame are metal and the drawer fronts are laminate but the colors match perfectly. All that was required for assembly was to attach the drawer pulls.

Damaged by huge dent on side

Arrived with a huge dent in the side which prevented the drawer from sliding in and out without scraping. I had to figure out how to pull the drawer all the way out in order to use a hammer to pound out the dent. It still looks damaged, but at least the drawer slides in and out fine now. I should have returned it, but I feel it would have been too much of a pain, because the item is not heavy, but bulky.

Quality at an amazing price!!

I rated this cabinet at three stars due to it being damaged. Otherwise, I would have given it FIVE stars. This file cabinet would be very nice had it not been dented in the back. The box it came in was not damaged, so I'm assuming it was dented where it was made and packaged anyway. I did not return this pickup order to Walmart as I needed it right away, and I didn't have the time nor the wherewithal to take it back. The dent isn't visible from the front, and luckily it doesn't affect the function of the drawers (which slide in and out very smoothly and quietly).

For the most part I am very happy with my purchase: It arrived in good condition, it is in most respects exactly what I need, the color is perfect. I love the extra drawer for putting supplies. There are some design flaws however: the file drawers do not pull out all the way which is frustrating when needing to access files further back, and the casters, which are great, NEED BREAKS so that the cabinet does not move/ roll around when using it. It's a sign of cost cutting that cheapens an otherwise good product.

It's definitely a filing cabnet

The price is great for a metal 2 1/2 tier file cabnet, but just know that it comes with pre-installed dents and covered it is in who knows what! Not dust for sure and I checked the othersides for my hand prints, but there were none. It's also on the inside on the bottom of the drawers.

Cheap cabinets - Do not recommend

Buying it on line was best thing about these cabinets, that part is easy.
