OXO/ Crate & Barrel don't care about the earth

I want to do my part to protect our earth and I ordered this because the containers are glass and the plastic lids are BPA free. However, the packaging that the plastic lids arrived in included a plastic bag around each lid. What a sad waste and what disregard both companies are showing the planet.

No leaks!

Heavy duty and perfect for all leftovers!I got this as a Christmas gift and can take it anywhere. Only downside is that it's heavy and weighs my bag down.

Vacuum Seal Issue with Glass Bowl

I’ve been using this set for a month. I want to love the set, but I’m frustrated with the vacuum seal. I put the glass bowl in the microwave and the top will not come off of the glass bowl. The top is permanently sealed on the glass bowl. At this point, I have no other choice but to discard the bowl and lid entirely.

The gift made it in perfect timing

YES the box was delivered in time for the bridal show BUT NO NOTE from Me was attached. The bride and groom did not know it came from me after I wrote a nice congratulations note to be attached

JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR

Bought this set for my beautiful niece and husband as a gift. Having checked the chemical content of this brand, it was noted that the glass features high up on the environmentally friendly glass cookware. Way to go, Crate and Barrel ! Well done

Very poor quality, the lids will not fit on most of these.

Not only do the lids not fit and they all refuse to snap closed on all 4 sides, but 2 of my closing clasps have cracked at the seam and are no longer fully attached to the lid itself because of such poor quality. I have a set of LockLock containers that I've had for years, and they all work perfectly and they never refuse to close. These are just very cheaply made, and I wouldn't recommend these even if they were free.

Disappointing organization

At this point you would expect the lids to neatly nest inside one another, instead they slide all over the cupboard and make one gigantic messy pile, probably worse than the one you were trying to sort out to begin with. I would definitely pass if given the chance to do it over again. I’m a neat freak and my Tupperware cupboard looks so messy now :(

I really like these containers because they are glass and the variety of sizes. However, they aren’t the easiest to clean because of the silicone piece attached to the lid and can be difficult to get the lids to clip on. Overall they do their job but most likely wouldn’t purchase again.

Poor quality

I'm sorry I wasted money on this product. The lids don't fit properly. I wish I had tried the lids before putting these items in the dishwasher- I would have returned them.

The error was on myself. I didn't read but half of the title. I saw 30 PC. Glass and ordered. I'm looking for an all glass no plastic set. So I returned this order for a refund.

Silicone seals remove/reinstall very easily for cleaning to keep food bacteria from growing, this is one of the main reasons I purchased this set.

This set includes 8 BPA-free thermal shock resistant glass containers (read warnings on bottom of box), 7 BPA-free plastic containers & 15 BPA-free plastic lids. Each lid has 4 locking tabs & a removable/washable ribbed silicone seal (great feature). All containers tell you how much volume in cups, milliliters/liters & Ounces they hold. The glass containers are freezer safe, microwave safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe & are stain proof. The plastic containers & locking lids are BPA-free, freezer safe, microwave safe & dishwasher safe. In my video, I tested how easy & well the lids lock as well as a seal test with water & shook the containers to see if there was any leaking and there was no leaking. The lids tabs are stiff & strong. I had no issues when locking the lids, just push firmly down on the lid when locking them and you should have no problem. The ribbed silicone seals remove/reinstall very easily for cleaning to keep food bacteria from growing, this is one of the main reasons I purchased this set. AMAZING

I love the combination of both glass and plastic tupperware. There are so many different sizes and everything stacks easily for storage. The clip lids make it so I don't spill any of my meals when I take them to work. I absolutely LOVE this set.

Not completely what I expected

I am transitioning to only glass containers and have plastic containers like these and like the seal mechanism. I was disappointed when I took the items out as the description states, "matching lids for all pieces" which I assumed meant that the glass containers would have glass tops. All the lids are plastic. It is a good product, but feel the description is misleading.

Useful containers

Seem to be pretty sturdy. Containers stack together nicely but the lids dont, making them rather bulky in storage. Put them to use and they seem to seal nicely. Freezer friendly.

OXO Good Grips, The Best Storage containers on the Market.

I did research before deciding to buying storage containers. They are the most durable and Best in quality of all storage containers on the marker currently available on the market. I found a large quantity set available and was very satisfied when they arrived. The shipping was fast. The quality is exceptional. Overall it was a Great Purchase. I would recommend them to everyone. Good investment.

Good looking

A good selection of sizes and materials. Hard to snap closed, though. Requires exact placement of the lid, or else is won’t close. And lids don’t nest, so they slide around and look messy when stacked.

Lots of sizes

I was excited to get such a wide variety of sizes of containers with this set. Some people have commented that the lids are difficult but so far, I have had no problems. They wash up very well. Love the glass containers that heat things up in the microwave very easily.

THE WORST

These are so terrible. I have had them a year and a half and hardly use them because they are so bad, I wish I had returned. The lids are almost impossible on many, some I have never been able to do up and therefore have never used. They also are all breaking, the little 'latches' that snap down have broken off.

Not Long-Lasting

I received this set about a year ago. At first, I absolutely loved these containers. I use them almost daily for food storage and packing lunches for work. I especially love the glass over plastic for reheating food. However, in the last two months the glass is starting to break in the areas the lids close. The first time it happened the glass went in my food without me realizing and I cut my tongue. Now it's happened twice more but I'm careful to double check the glass before eating. Always in the area the lids snap closed. This morning it happened again and now I'm thinking I'm going to have to throw away all the glass pieces of the set. It is a shame for the price point that I'm only getting a year of use. Hopefully others will find this review helpful and consider other options before purchasing. I'm disappointed because I've always been a huge supporter of Crate and Barrel but feel for the first time I have wasted money.

Great set!

This is a great set we bought after our wedding to replace all our tupper-junk. For those having trouble closing the tops, I recommend you press down and snap 2 sides at once instead of each side one by one, . I haven't had any issues apart from the first set coming with a broken lid. C+B Was great about taking it back and sending me a new one, so no harm done.
