I bought these to grow vegetables on my deck. They look nice and are sturdy. We did have to drill multiple holes in them. Also, they do come with a few dings/scratches - but the dark color (charcoal) disguises this and overall I am happy with the purchase. Unless you spend $$$$ on large planters, these are a good buy,.

I needed a planter that was big enough to plant some upright shrubs in front of an unsightly utility meter with a concrete base, which prevented me from planting shrubs directly in the ground. I needed two to balance the area, and I wanted the color black. This planter was reasonably priced, lightweight but strong, and worked well for what I needed it for.

Too large for window box

I love this planter. I have ordered several over a few years time. I put drainage holes in them and use them outside They have lasted well over Michigan winters

As pictured but description should have said it’s a lipped rim, which means water does not fully empty even when turned upside down. Good other than that.

Was exactly what I was expecting. Light weight. Sturdy. Good price compared to other options. I took my drill and made some holes on the bottom for drainage and that was super easy. The drill bit went through like butter, but it still maintained structure.

This planter is a very nice size and is is visually pleasing. It seems to hold moisture adequately. I can’t recall if I had to drill drainage holes or not. I like the fact that it is slightly raised.

Love the size - perfect for two rows of sweet peas and some bedding plants in front of the sweet peas. It would be that much better if there were drainage holes in the container but a very handy son-in-law made that happen!

This is a large planter — the material it’s made of is very light - of this was a ceramic planter it would be very heavy— served our purposes perfectly and it was the shape we wanted — It’s sturdy and durable — we made drain holes in it as it had none - so far we are very happy with our purchase.
