Very Selective Placement

We purchased this heated birdbath from a Peavy when we on holiday. It works terrific. However, we stopped using it. We have a chain link fence surrounding our yard and found that in the cold weather the birds feet would get wet. The birds would then perch on the fence with wet feet and stick to the metal fencing. The birds would panic and end up injuring themselves....usually with a deadly ending. Would be very cautious to whom I would recommend this product.

I had a little trouble keeping it level when fastening to my deck railing but it’s close. The water is so shallow though that it needs to filled almost daily. Definitely doesn’t freeze.

Terrible...the water evaporates so quickly...what a shame that I wasted money on this. You should stop selling it.

Lasts for years

I've used this for 5 years outdoors in snow and cold weather, but store for summer. The perfect size for small birds-sparrows, finch, chickadees, attracts more birds than bird feeders. I attached an outdoor extension cord to reach the outdoor outlet on the deck and used the metal feet on it to rest on the deck--the feet WILL fall out when lifted. It comes with a railing mount I have not used. The metal finish is like original and not rusted.The plastic bowl faded but never cracked or warped.

Ice-free bathing.

Birds overwintered in a nice ice-free bath. They loved it. The legs would not stay in place so I used my old rim. Designed for mounting on a rail or board, so it should not be an issue for most folk.

Great product, but smaller than advertised.

Keeps the water heated for the birds so that it doesn't freeze. The only disappointment was that it was slightly smaller than advertised. We are using this one as a replacement for our other 14 inch heated bird bath that broke, but this one is slightly smaller than 14 inches and doesn't fit in our old stand very well.

First class, just what I needed.

This birdbath unit is first class and exactly for which I was looking. More importantly, my feeders attract a myriad variety of birds, and so far every one of them has trusted and used the Birdbath.

Cannot Recommend, One Star

Bowl is extremely shallow. Wall mount design cannot not hold bowl level making filling bowl impossible. Legs do not lock in place. Screws for wall mount not included.

Like the fact that it has three different way to mount.

Nice size and has three ways to mount to the deck.

I love the birdbath the water does not freeze and is very well built but my birds won’t go to it. I put it just a few feet from my concrete one which is froze and they still go to that one. So we dump the frozen one and they still won’t come to the new one

This is the 2nd Farm Innovators model like this I have owned. The previous model was much deeper, but I sort of like this shallower model as the bluebirds like that as well.

Had one before-same brand and model. It did not last very long before heating element quit---hope this one lasts longer.
