EXCELLENT

This is an amazing DVD. I believe the story line is fully or partially factual. It's been an eye opener and could be treated as educational for some communities. All the actors are very good but an excellent performance goes to Emma Stone and Viola Davis.

What a wonderful movie it truly brings to light the horrors of that time and what women of color went through! Raising white children and being treated like second class citizens! The picture quality is great really brings you back to that time!!! I cry every time I watch it!!!

"The Help", very good movie.

Another movie about a very serious subject. It made you think how unfair life was for some people. It's better today. But things haven't changed completely. I highly recommend it.

I am coming from this country and I have never never seen what is has been going on in the south is absolutely horrible that one human beings to treat the other as there are better than anybody else. Karma karma.

I love ❤️ this movie with all the great actors in it. This movie can be watched over and over again. Many of my favorite actors are in this movie. It makes me angry that they were were treated so badly !! How can anyone treat another human being as these people were treated?!

Thoroughly entertaining with mostly comedy carrying the majority of the movie.Not a historical documentary but based on true facts.Add Hilly to my list of great actors I hate but you know if Frank Burns,Percy Wetmore,Hilly Holbrook and many others characters weren't doing a fantastic job of acting they'd not affect anyone like they do. Most of the other characters also are worth watching.My favorite character was Sissy Spacek as Missus Walters.

This movie is so awesome. The Help sends a message to people that are racist and very judgmental. I loved the actors especially Viola Davis and Octavia they're both wonderful!

Poignant, a movie everyone should watch.

This is such good movie to teach our children that other people really did and in some cases still do treat others different than themselves like these human beings of color were treated in this film in the 1960s and before and beyond. This whole world is like this in so many ways, thank you for having the movie to purchase. I looked for a long time for it. It was shipped very quickly and in new condition. Thank you again so much! Love the book, love the movie!! With an amazing all star cast of ladies depicting the various characters! I love how story based on the book to the movie! My one of my favorite parts was "the chocolate pie" scene! I highly recommend this movie with your girlfriends!

This is a favorite movie for me. The determination these wonderful women exhibit while maintaining their self respect and dignity always makes me feel a glimmer of hope that eventually all people who detract and backstab others will just sit down and enjoy a piece of pie. A big piece.

Funny and Truthful

What I really liked about this movie is that they captured a likely historical situation that would have occurred after slavery had ended and before black equality. There was unfairness that needed corrected, and the storyline shows the daily situation hardships blacks would have encountered along with their mistrust and hesitancy that was understandable. It is not all drama though a lot of it is, and what I appreciated is the story shows that there are whites that are not racist who see there's a problem and end up standing up to whites who are racist. It was a transition time that could have played out in many different ways, and since this is not a true story I believe the writer had hypothesized this circumstance and put it in movie format. I wish they would have gone further showing more day to day situations the help would have encountered so more of their stories would've been heard.

WONDERFUL!!!!!

This movie has an amazing cast while it looks at life in Mississippi from a Black (the domestic servants) and White perspective. It has its moments of expected sadness alongside unleashed hillarity, confusion, and anger. If ever I feel down, I can count on this film for a good cry or to lift my spirits.
