Highly Thematic Tile Placement and Puzzle Game

The Night Cage is a horror-themed tile placement puzzle game. Its premise is creepy: You awake trapped inside a dark cage with four others -- strangers? family? friends? -- holding a candle. You don't know what lurks in the cage, nor do you know the way out. Because you're holding a candle, you can only see so far ahead . . .

Not Disappointed in the slightest

Game is fantastic and makes you really try to work as a team to overcome the dark. The instruction book has a Spotify QR that brings you to their curated playlist that sets up a perfect eery atmosphere. That, some dim red or purple led strips, and some candle light… *chefs kiss*

Really Fun

It is a fun quick game to play. If you keep the basic settings and the boss monsters. If you add the advance mod it is quite impossible to win. But still entertaining.

Simply good.

This game is a coop or solo puzzle game that doesn't feel like one. The theme is present and the game is quick. If you set the atmosphere on top of it, you'll get a very good game.

An original game of strategy: fabulous srt work, straightforward rules and very interesting play. A co-operative game which plays differently each time. Excellent!

Super herausforderndes Spiel

Herausforderndes Spiel mit tollen Visualisierungen. Perfekt fr den Abend mit bis zu 5 Personen. Das Spiel an sich ist nicht schwer zu verstehen. Aber zu gewinnen ist echt eine eine Taktiksache und etwas Glck. Es steht momentan 2 zu 7 fr das Spiel Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Quiet little title with a fun punch

I adore this quiet hit. It’s spooky and creepy as you journey fumbling through the darkness looking for escape. Happening upon things that go bump in the night. It is possible to get into logical tizzies when you stumble upon keys you aren’t ready for, or monsters that set off chain reactions setting the whole place into an uproar.

Unusually Fun

The Night Cage is an interesting game. I have now played this game 6 time as a 2 player and 4 player before writing this. I like the way the time and tiles run together and the artwork and concept should make it more fun than it is. Don't get me wrong it is a fun and different game and it does make you think. The strategy in the game is good and I love the fact that the tiles continually change. The metal keys are lovely, heavy and awesome but the player icon are so cheep its odd its like they come from different games.

Hauntingly Stressful

This game is a wonderful cooperative race against a clock. The artwork is haunting, the theme is morose, but the game is really good.

The Night Cage

A little complicated in the beginning but not as complicated as the rule book makes out. Enjoyable to play it has very interesting mechanics for your candle light, which work well, lovely designed tile stand that looks like a candle 🕯. If you're looking for something a little different maybe check this out.

Everything I wanted

Waited for months and worth the wait. The constant cooperative play was a surprise and makes the game a puzzle to solve rather than a battle.

The night cage is a very intense cooperative game you can't play it safe and you can't play too aggressive. Also if you think it is easy you likely are playing it wrong or about get lose as I can tell you from experience.

We had a great time with this one. We lost, but it was fun. We all agreed that we want to give it another try. We really liked the theme and the tile laying. The art is great as well.
